This is one of those games i had circled when looking at the week ahead as a sure fire over bet ... wish i still got it when it was 48 but it went up as anticipated.
Covers has Ravens as 0-1 on turf this year. Did Ravens lose to Houston early this year? I believe looking at the schedule for the Ravens this seems like the only possible game on turf? Do the Texans play on turf/in a dome? I personally believe Ravens are bait tonight. And don't think Flacco really lit it up in the SB. Jacoby Jones had a kick return and minus the one bomb for a TD to Jones he was average. SF put themselves behind the 8 ball and made a furious comeback to almost win it as they had a shot first and goal from the 5 and failed to score. And yes SF's final offensive play was a blatant missed call for defensive holding/PI as Crabtree was mugged. If the throw was just slightly better the flag would have been thrown but regardless it was a foul. Ravens brought the house and Kaep got rid of it quick and Crabtree was simultaneously being grabbed as the ball was thrown in his direction. Ravens were lucky to win that game. They won't be so lucky tonight. I see them getting down early and Flacco needs to play the role of Brady/Manning for once a bring his team from a big deficit early. Lions crowd will be pumped up and the talent of this Lions roster will show in front of the nation as they knock off the defending champs.
