Pick:New Orleans Saints -3 (bought a point yesterday)
These two NFC clubs met last year in a Saturday night late December meeting that saw Dallas post the 24-17 road victory as a 7 ½ point road underdog. The game landed under the closing total of 41 points.
New Orleans
New Orleans appears to be back on track to making another run at the top spot in the conference. The Saints have won their last three and are starting to put points on the board like they did last year. Saints have scored 30 or more points in 3 of there last 5 and are now averaging 23.5 per game for the year. The Saints are 5-1 ATS in their last five games against Dallas. With the rough start, Drew Brees is having another superlative year and is looking like a Hall of Fame cinch as he has completed 69.5 percent of his passes for 2,969 yards with 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Reggie Bush is making his return back. Bush brings an added element to the Saints offense that brings them to another level. With Bush in the back field or in the slot , The play action becomes a big factor in this game and opens the defence to a big play down field. New Orleans has a tough division and not easy matchups in the upcoming weeks and a win in Dallas would help a lot. For the season New Orleans is averaging 23.5 points and 382.3 yards per game while the defense is allowing 17 points and 291.7 yards per game.
Dallas
the Cowboys look to play the role of spoiler with playoffs taking out of the picture. Jason Garrett looks to prove that he is much more than a interim head coach and deserves a chance a being the head coach. Garrett is off to a 2-0 start and he's been helped by the improved play of Jon Kitna who has completed 63.3 percent of his passes for 1,223 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. As a team Dallas is averaging 22.9 points and 356.6 yards while the defense is allowing 27.1 points and 352.4 yards per game. While the Cowboys might have a renewed sense of urgency, can we really throw away the first eight games of the season and assume the Cowboys are back in action?

Well first thing I would like to say is I am glad to hear that Reggie Bush is making his return. I bought a point to make it -3 although I believe the Saints will win by 7+. In my opinion, The Saints are the better team overall of course, they do have motivation and with Brees and Bush they should win at least with three points.
The Saints are 5-1 ATS in their last five games against Dallas and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Cowboys are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against the NFC and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall
While New Orleans has had a pretty easy schedule up to this point, they’ll get revenge on Dallas for ruining their undefeated record. The Saints are peaking at the right time due to a huge amount of factors, but none more important on NFL Thanksgiving than Brees being matched up against the 24th ranked home pass defense of the Cowboys.
My pick is the New Orleans Saints -3.
Thoughts,
Also Have a great Thanksgiving day with the family and friends. Be safe and have a great day.
