Ho hum yesterday, 1-1, didn't like the afternoon games b/c I like tonights two games.
Let's start by stating that Lamar Jackson is 22-3 vs. the NFC. The Ravens are 3-2-1 against the spread but are 15-6 ATS on the road over their past 21 games. I see the spread has slowly moved higher on the Ravens but I have reason to believe they will be ready to battle. I think the spread is pretty accurate though if I were an oddsmaker I'd have a far better record.
The Ravens are susceptible to coming out slow and have played to the OVER in 5 of the last 7 on the road. Conversely, TB has done the opposite, riding the UNDER in 5 of their last 7 affairs. I do not have a strong feel for that given both teams have very solid offenses and the Ravens give up yards through the air worse than any defense in the NFL. So if prop bets are your thing, maybe play some of those as well as Justice Hill who always seems to have over 25 receiving yards.
For the game, I see the advantage in the first half tonight as the Buccaneers are 4-2 so far this season in the FH and are getting a field goal. I also wouldn't be surprised to see lots of early scoring and maybe things slowing down towards the end of the game, especially if it's close. Super hard for me to go against my Ravens but I just think it's the Money Play for the evening:
TAMPA BAY FH (+3)
The second game is a lot more interesting from a bettors perspective b/c I truly believe the Cardinals stink. I don't see them as having a home field advantage and they have been worked by the Chargers losing 4 of the last 5 played between the two teams. The Chargers will want to run and I think they do that effectively and will be able to control the time of possession. The problem for the Cardinals has been penalties and while their defense is ranked 6th I believe, their offense is middle of the pack. I'd love to see the scoreboard lighting in this one but I feel like this is just the side game with the main event being Baltimore vs. Tampa. I think Harbaugh has these guys believing and I believe he just knows how to win. Give me the Chargers all day...
LOS ANGELES ML (-120)...BIG PLAY!!!
Weird two picks as I look at them but when they win I will be happy. Hoping everyone had a profitable weekend. As always, do your own research, and tail or fade, good luck to all....

Just for clarification I can't go back to edit but should read the "Chargers defense is 6th" and that should have been on the line below. The Cardinals defense is 27th, and 22nd vs. the run, so not very good, and another reason I back the Chargers who are run heavy.
