To begin, my record was a bit off last time around so I adjusted it after MNF loss. Still really burning a trail in the NFL but not sure Nick Sirianni is as good as some think he is. Randomly decides when to go for 4th down and unless the Eagles are way in front, I think he isn't the best late game coach. That said, the Eagles don't play tonight so I'm just really venting a bit.
I do again like tonights game as I have not been overly impressed with the Jets, who could easily have been 0-2, and have been somewhat impressed with the Patriots, who could easily have been 2-0. But as it stands, both teams enter tonight 1-1. The one thing that does stick out to me is New England is 15-1 SU in its last 16 games when playing the NY Jets and it's hard to ignore that especially given the teams of years past.
But this is a different year and I think this is ultimately a low scoring game with a lot of handoffs to help protect both QB's. The Jets have an amazing offensive line and they have played quite well to date. The Patriots have had a very good start to the season on the defensive end so I'm looking elsewhere for the advantage.
Funny enough, the PUNTER for NE, Bryce Baringer, has been outstanding this season, averaging 53.8 yards per punt and pinning teams inside their own 20-yard line on 64% of his punts. So I do believe field position will play a part in this one.
I think the NY teams get bet up more than most and I don't see tonight being any different. Yes, the world LOVED the Pats but that was during the days of Brady and he is long gone now. I realize it's the Jets home opener and Rodgers has another chance to enchant the crowd, but that just adds to the love for them which I feel is unwarranted. I just really can't get that 15-1 SU trend out of my head and the idea that both of these teams are capable of playing sound defense makes me think there is only one way to play tonight:
NEW ENGLAND (+6)
I will certainly be back later and definitely on Sunday. Hoping everyone has had a solid week. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

Nice write up but bringing up the 15-1 record many times with both of these teams being SO different than those past teams + i mean SO.....15-1 means lower than 0000 except for the law of ave. catching up tonight + many future games between these teams at least the next 4 anyway likely.

I just hate the UNDERS when they are this low and then you are sweating from opening kickoff. I think there are better spots for an UNDER on Sunday. Pats D is better than people give credit for so I'm playing more trends here but I'd def side UNDER
Thanks everyone good luck to everyone too
