Profitable weekend though not the torrid day I was hoping for. Tonight, not much to it, I think the NYG are a good team with a really solid if not underrated defense. Pittsburgh is a very good team with a top if not still underrated defense. While the UNDER has come in 4 out of the past 5 times these two teams have played, they have not scored less than 37 points in all but one of those. So I dont' really have a feel for the total outside of good defense vs. not great offense. BUT, both teams have WRs who are playmakers such as Malik Nabers for NYG and George Pickens for PITT. That will allow the teams to stretch the field a bit if/when the QB's have time.
Daniel Jones is more mobile than Russel Wilson (at least the current version of Russel Wilson) and I think that might be his saving grace to escape from the Steelers pash rush. Wilson I think might struggle to get out of the pocket but the Steelers have a really solid ground game with Najee Harris. The Giants run defense has not been great this year and so I think they might give up some yards on the ground. Their pass defense on the other hand has been really solid.
I like a play on the first half here as I can get some real value on the NYG with a 3.5 point spread. I'll grab that and worry about the Total for another game later this week.
GIANTS FH (+3.5) -115
Hope everyone has a really enjoyable evening. I've posted in three sports tonight so I will be viewing from my home cinema with the remote close at hand. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
