and here is why you should take the Eagles. You still haven't learned from last year it seems. Atlanta's defense is built more on speed than actually stopping the run. They've finished 20th, 28th, and 25th in run defense DVOA under Quinn as head coach. They're designed to limit the big play, long play, not stop underneath. Jason Peters finally returns tonight, whom didn't play all preseason for you people who think preseason has any forecasting of what actually happens in the regular season (LOL). Ajayi should put up MONSTER numbers since hes finally had an offseason to learn the full offense.

The focus is on Wentz, Jeffery, Bradham not playing, right? Do you realize that Sproles is used as a WR split out in the slot. Do you realize that Doug Pederson is probably the most creative coach in the NFL? Combine Sproles with Goedert (two TE sets with Ertz), you're not missing a beat without Alshon.

It's so obviously clear that Wentz is a better QB than Foles and it's a crime to even consider that they are in the same hemisphere asfar as talent is concerned. Wentz is the 2nd best QB in the league and will be the best ever once his career is finished, but we'll just have to wait a game or two to see this. In the meantime, Foles will lead this team to a W on the backs of the defense who will shut down this Falcons offense in the RZ primarily. Schwartz' defense is a bend-but-don't-break style and the Falcons are really bad in the RZ. Let's not forget that the Eagles have allowed 7.5 fewer ppg at home than on the road over the past 3 seasons.
