Decided to take the whole Week 1 off, didn't feel like coin flipping and throwing out a random number on a bet, I am still not sure if I am willing to bet real money yet in week #2, but at least I have a better picture of what I want to do if I were to make some bets. Here are some leans and games I will look into, most that have followed know I am not a big W/L record guy although I will keep that up in my YTD, I am more of a + UNITS guy.
Week 2 leans, still need more time to see if I am going to bet any of these, but these are the teams I like in week 2.
BUF
CAR
NO
LAR
DEN
CIN
CHI @ HOU
ATL @ PHI
SNF and MNF always bring that factor of being the only game one want to put some money on it but so far no feel although the obvious would be Texans and Eagles.
Conversations are welcome and if/when I do place the bets, I will post them in this thread.
Good Luck everyone

Good luck this season, T-T! Your patience is admirable. I bit on Carolina in Week 1 and simply won't look that way until that O improves. They looked like the feeble group from LY. Consider the G-men. They were outclassed by an aggressive Viking D and quality OL play. Wash. much less talented.
There was once a time where I would bet which ice cube would melt faster.... fun times but wasn't really making the best money.
Matchup history and the Saints whole makeup playing at home was a setup for disaster for the Panthers in week 1, but in week 2 at home catching close to 7 points is whole different story, or at least I hope that how it will work out, still a lean, but we will see, not sure the Chargers are a team to be giving close to a TD on the road this year.
I actually do not mind this NYG football team, but I just can not stand Daniel Jones at all....

I'm on NO, I'm leaning Rams and Bills. My strongest play though is the Chiefs. The Bengals have big problems in a lot of areas. Good Luck.
Just my leans for now, unlike MLB and NBA where I would bet and let it be, I like to watch how the line moves in NFL, the Saints, Rams, and Bills passing my eye test and this Chiefs team with their rookie WR Worthy looks dynamic, waiting to see where Higgins is at when the final injury reports comes out.

I use a yards per point system, Chiefs are my strongest play this week Also like BUF……Bills have won 4 straight vs fins, and 11 of the last 12 meetings BOL
Hard not to like the Chiefs after watching them win in week #1, I like Bill Mafia a lot and that last 12 meeting is a nice part of why I like them. Good Luck this week

@Taipei-Tony No argument from me on any comments you made. Would not lay it with the Chargers. QB Jones will have a much better chance to play well this week. We'll see.

4-5 phase I get into when I like a team, this is just one phase of it, and being at home brings another dimension into it, but I was hoping Wilson is the QB not Fields, I liked the Dirty birds last week until I found out Wilson wasn't playing, although you brought up a good ? I might sit this one out and not make my eyes suffer watching this game.

Well Bill Mafia was the correct play play tonight. Josh Allen is that good, and Tua just isnt good, that throw away pick 6 told and showed us all we need to know after getting the ball back in the second half.
Still not sure if I will jump in this week, but since I posted my leans...
BUF have won.
CAR is at a whopping -134 at +6.5 which means the spread have gone to +4.5 to +5.
NO is now at +6 down .5 point form the opening line of +6.5
LAR is at +1 I believe I saw +1.5 to 2 points Monday night.
DEN from +3 is now at +2.5
CIN another head scratcher for me, rom +6.5 down to +5 to +5.5, thought this would go 7, I know everyone is taking the Chiefs!
CHI @ HOU I said gun to my head its the Texans, and I very well may add them and the Eagles on a 2 team teaser.
ATL @ PHI Read above comment on the Texans game.
The Colts at -2.5 look like a smash but... enough leans and games I am already looking into. Another interesting one is the Vikings, from +6.5 down to +5. If this was mid to late season, lot so these home dogs might be auto plays, but early in the season, I am just not sure yet!
