My favorite bet this season. I am betting a lot more than 2 Units, but for purposes of tracking on this site, I'm making it a 2 Unit bet. I will certainly be on them in-play and 2nd half as well. This is a beat down tonight.
Line opened at 3.5, was bet to 5.5. Now news of Beckham and Randle probable, has it bet back down to 3.5. Line movement is clearly trying to scare people away from betting the Eagles.
Neither team will be able to run the ball tonight. Eagles maybe a bit more than the Giants. Eagles pass D is better than the Giants, and significantly better with the loss of Amukamara.
Eagles have played a tougher schedule. Giants lost at dallas and covered, go home and lose being favored to atl. Win by 11 home vs skins while covering. Go to Buff and win as dog, and then go back home and win, but don't cover vs San Fran. None of those games impress me.
Eagles win at Jets looks impressive. Obv, going to Wash and losing as a favorite looks bad, but they could've easily won that game and if so, they'd also be riding a 3 game win streak into this game and the spread would probably be -6 or -7. Eagles only bad loss was at home to Dallas, but they could easily be 4-1 right now.
The 3.5 spread will also scare off potential Eagles' bettors because of the hook and will still entice Giants bets because they get the hook even though the spread went down.
All in all, I think the Eagles get it done tonight against a banged up, overrated Giants team. Only thing I worry is of the Eagles slow starts this year. I will be putting bigger bets in-play and 2nd half tonight.

Weird how you don't mention anything about how much better the Giants offensive line is than philly, or how turnover prone bradford has been
Much better? Giants have the 23rd ranked offensive line on Football Outsiders. And while the Eagles are the worst right now, Giants have 0 pass rush. Kennard and Ayers are both out so that makes a bad defensive front 7 even worse and with less depth. Giants D line doesn't scare me. Eagles front 7 should scare the Giants.
