EAGLES-3.5.......dont understand this line here, should be closer to 6.5- 7 point spread. Detroit will be a cupcake for teams this year like they were last year. Jalen Hurts is going to be a beast this year, I dont do fantasy football but he would be a guy i would like to have on my roster, he can score by air and on the ground. Taking philly to roll here on the road 31-14 against Mr. Dan Campbell and his circus. P.S. Jared Goff doesnt scare me.

If I would touch the match it's Detroit +4 for me. More trust in capabilities and experience Goff this early. I think pressure on Hurts is enormous because everybody expects a lot of this team, but can he handle that in an away match first week?

I’m on Detroit +4 and the biggest reason is Duce Staley. He was a coach and a player there for multiple years and was passed over several times to be head coach there. I can guarantee you he has this game circled on his calendar and being a former coach, he knows the intricacies of the offense and defense. Each player’s weaknesses, their tendencies and the best matchups. Now you couple that with the fact that Philly rolled them last year by 38pts and are most likely not taking Detroit seriously and we have a potential upset in the making. I see this game going down to the wire with the Lions stealing it or playing just good enough to lose. Either way I love the 4pts. Best of luck

Eagles are clearly the better team, but this quote here screams ignorance:
“Detroit will be a cupcake for teams this year like they were last year”
They have one of the better OLs in the NFL, always have had talent at RB with Swift and Williams, and talent at WR now. Real question is have they improved their defense enough to not lose the game in the first half? They did improve the defense. They are going to play teams tougher than you think.

I wouldn't say never, but generally find road favorites in week 1 are bad news, no matter what the matchup. On the other hand, not betting on the Lions until I see a reason to...
