But was wondering if anyone looks at the avg age of teams for betting on tnf
only 3 days rest could hurt the older players with their ability to recover from sunday
rams are the youngest nfl team
saints are the oldest nfl team

Interesting angle. You know who does, kinda? Tony Dungy. I've heard him say, give me speed. To me, that means, give me the younger, faster guys.
Reminds me of the Bucs Super Bowl vs. the Raiders. Every Raider player was like 40. Raiders were favored by around 5-6, I seem to remember. Got run in circles - walloped.

Wow! I remember that game perfectly I had Tampa Bay in Las Vegas and they were 10 to 1 and I was dressed in a buccaneer costume and Brent Mussberger if you guys remember that sports announcer back in the '80s and '90s and he came up to me and said wow that costume looks great and started chatting with me for about 5 minutes a moment I'll never forget as well as the 1000 i got back with my (10-1) $100 play

3 days rest being the key factor here , but yes I’ve also looked at age in capping other games also
I was all over kc in the super bowl last year , one of the keys for me was the age of the Philly Dline , even though they were a heavy rotational dline with 70 plus sacks they still had some old fellas in there
since that loss you’ve seen Philly get younger with the dline

@justliketoplay Great story!!! It was always called the Gruden Bowl (Dixie Chicks sang the anthem) but the major memory for me ws the Raiders center Barret Robbins. He went MIA the morning of the game, and nobody found him until the next day in a ditch all banged up in Tijuana, Mexico. Turned out he had long-term mental issues (tequila is a hellofa drug) and the Raiders imploded. They looked like they were playing in cement shoes.
The Bucs were so young and fast. Ran circles around the tired old Raiders.
Good lesson for me - when the center goes missing, bet the other way

Yep! Back up centers are known not to be in sync with the starting quarterback and they get signals crossed which turns into missed snaps and botched plays most of the time and a very key player in the game no doubt.....happy holidays to all on the thread.

Yep, I forgot that when the Dolphin's center went out a few Monday night games ago. Tua had trouble getting the snap, and I still bet on them in game. What was I thinking, not to have remembered this from 20 years ago! (LOL)
