I was fortunate enough to win my Ravens play. True story my buddy had the Browns +3 very large wager. He texted me as soon as Tucker nailed the 55 yarder and said, “what a disgusting ending, all that for a fcuking push, goodnight , got work in the morning”
He doesn’t know he lost the poor guy, he will wake up in the morning and eventually find out about the safety. Brutal

Your title is so true. Even though I lost, I was on the right side and made the right decision so I can't get too mad about it, especially with a push on the Over whole game. Hopefully your friend didn't bet too big.

I don"t even consider this game to be a bad beat... A real bad beat is Falcons/Patriots SB..Up 28-3.....and lose.....Ravens were up 14 with 4 minutes to go 3rd quarter...

4 minutes versus 2 seconds. This by far shits all over that in bad beats. Falcons are known to fuck up in the most epic way and Patriots with Tom Brady is known to make the most epic come backs. It was the perfect storm.

Thousands of football games and I have NEVER seen that
I have seen them go for TDs but it was like the Browns were desperate to end the game with Ravens points. The vast majority of the time these guys just give up and call it a day.

@ActionMagnet
I actually posted about the push.
I couldn't believe it

2020 has to be the worst year for NFL bad beats in history. There's so many this year. You don't have time to think about one and another comes.
BS that we never saw before, never saw anyone lose on a safety at the buzzer like that, maybe a fumble and defense scores but that was special.
Chubb stepping out at the one. Hills' catch last week that wasn't awarded a td (I had him OV rec yards, missed it by that), that's just never happened, a guy catches a ball and no one involved including himself believes it was a catch.
Falcons SB definitely a bad beat but a comeback is a comeback, it happens. Individual plays at the end of a game that just don't happen, is a BAD BEAT makes you lose, they had one play and went backwards 25 yards and you have +3, 99.99% chance of pushing. Divine intervention is the only thing that explains it.
These are plays you won't forget if somebody brings them up. I know SB is gonna be brought up, but mental errors did in the Falcons, not Divine Intervention.

"Game of inches" is a very true statement---how many games to cover come down to the last few minutes/plays of the game? Seems like 80/90% very seldom do we have a bet where we just lead big wire to wire with no sweat out of it....your always nervous until that final horn sounds

Handicapping....Such a waste of time. Flip a coin.
About 30 years ago, I was on such a bad run, that I wrote numbers on little pieces of paper and each number was assigned a team, based on the order of the lines in the news paper. I folded the paper so I couldn't see the numbers, and picked random numbers off the front room floor. I didn't do any better, or any worse.

I don't know how many times in rhe last 2 weeks I've been on the wrong side of these. Teams on the goal line and can't score 2 weekend ago had a 6 teamer, 500 paid 23000 chargers last 60 seconds were 1st and goal from the 2 couldn't score, only loss on my parlay. Had ucla this weekend for a larger bet than normal. I could write about 10 more but I won't lol. Thats what keeps people hooked though.
