If any more evidence were need that the league is controlling games from NY then that fumble was is it. They didn't want that fumble so they simply ignored it. It was just so blatant.

The Kelvin Benjamin TD was a sure a catch as you'll ever see, not in the Tom Brady league though.

The reason the catch rule was muddied to the point of incomprehension is so that the NFL can interpret any play just how they want.

All that said, nothing but contempt for Andy Reid, who cannot coach beyond HT and would rather lose than go away from game plan, particulary as he's trying to pass the blame onto Alex Smith who everyone can see is not the problem in KC.

Look, I have been a Chiefs fan my whole adult life. As well as a gambler. I didn't pay any attention to football this year, but when I saw the Chiefs as a 9 point favorite against a "down and out" team lucky to even be in the playoffs, there was no doubt where my money would go.

We are talking about the Chiefs here. 1-11 in their last dozen playoff games. Favored in many of those games. It didn't take a genius to figure out they would bend themselves over in the end.

There were many mysteries as there always is and always has been and always will be. For those whining about the mariota fumble though, the refs easily could have and should have blown that play dead and flagged the chiefs for 15 yards for a direct hit to the head of the quarterback, he was in the pocket and he was hit helmet to helmet very clearly, I was incredulous that there was no call there, easy and obvious penalty, the Chiefs not only should have had the ball but been moved half way towards the goal line and they would have gotten a TD instead of a field goal there.

The best part of the fumble whining is that not oner person whining about the mariota play makes any mention of the fact kelce fumbled when he got hurt just moments later, that was a clear fumble as replay showed and the refused to take a look at it, the Titans could do nothing about it as it was inside two minutes, and the titans picked the ball up and ran unimpeded to the end zone. The game was 14-3 then it would have and should have been 14-10 at the half, instead the Chiefs march down and get a TD to end the half. In the second half the Chiefs got the living crap beat out of them on both sides of the line.

The game wasn&#x2019;t fixed it was just one of the worst officiated games of all time.  The refs are too old and need to be replaced with sharper younger versions of themselves.  Both sides could point to obvious egregiously bad calls.

Of course the TENN/KC game was fixed...
