Off topic........Flynn needs to start for Seattle

 Wilson just isn't ready yet.........it looks like the Seahawks have limited their play calling to ease him in. I saw some open receivers that Wilson never got around to looking for. They just can't keep running complete vanilla & expect to win anymore shit like tonight.

Definitely. What's the point of playing him over Flynn if you don't feel he can run the whole playbook.

did u see the zona game? he has no receivers. if he did they win that one.  they are awful. at least he doesnt turn it over which im sure flynn would forcing it.

Why did they even pickup Flynn for $6.5M/year and then draft Wilson?

I never thought Wilson was that great of a QB at Wisc. Maybe he can develop into one, but giving that guy the QB job over Flynn is ridic.

They definitely dumbed it down tonight, but I think it was a product of the moment (MNF)  He's still a better QB than Flynn IMO, and his ability to move is the reason he's in there.

Wilson played well....no one was getting open. He didnt force, kept the ball, and won the game

i agree 100%..flynn will get either sacked or force throws to covered receivers (because they suck and cant get open) mine as well let him learn..hes the future

Wilson is a stud of an athlete...........smart, quick, good arm..............I don't think PC ever anticipated that he would ever be available in the 3rd round much less compete for the starting job. He knows more about this game than I do..........but I can see that the kid needs to grow quick or the 'hawks will lose some of these types of game.

 Right now, unless he's hurt, I think Flynn probably gives you more of a chance to run your offense to the fullest.

This is on the coaching staff. He looks to have upside but not ready yet. Good point. This fiasco tonight will just keep him in there, although not the best thing for him or the team.

I won with GB. Sure most didn't but I did an unusual Parley with ChiSux. GB +3.5 and ChiSux 15 +1/2. But after seeing the last drive of the game, well if that doen't get the NFL to do WHAT EVER IT TAKES to get the real deal refs back I do belive the integrity of the game is really going to be damaged.

They are much like the Cardinals.  2 very good D's with sorry QB play.  Just play ball control and follow the 49ers recipe.

I was very impressed with the seattle team overall. First look this year and I loved the defensive effort.

 He might also be able to audible out of calls where Wilson can't right now.....or actually see his 3rd option.

 Not saying the kid is a bust.........he's getting the proverbial baptism by fire. Gonna have to live with the growing pains.

Flynn is a 4.6 guy. He can move.

4.3 > 4.6 and is ATLEAST a step which makes a giant difference in getting away from pressure.  When you face a good defense like a GB or a SF...do you want a pocket passer who's less mobile...or someone who can get you a few first downs with his legs if needed?  The Hawks offense line is still a work in progress, and a mobile QB is needed until the gel...it's that simple.

I don't think it matters who the quarterback is..they should have been drafting and signing receivers..

Wilson was exciting to watch in college and he has kept it up in the NFL.  Let the kid have his shot

 Be thankful you got one of the best team players around as your QB that is going to do what you tell him to do. This guy is going to be special Im going to bump this thread when he wins his first playoff game. Kid is beyond his years you will see huge improvement in him week by week

After that performance, albeit a few of the ints werent his fault, I am leaning towards at least giving Matt Flynn a game to see whatthe offense looks like.

It wasnt easy for me to come in here and admit I might be wrong so be nice, lol. Russell just looks skittish out there right now, he wasn't like that in the preseason and it seems like the pressure is too much for him right now, he might grow watching a few games and you got a pretty sought after QB you paid alot of money for on the bench, I dont see why you dont g ive him a shot.
