Makes ya kinda go hmmm...Riddle me this... Frank Gore,Bouldin, Crabtree,Vernon Davis,Patrick Willis,
Add to them offensive tackle Joe Staley, defensive end Justin Smith and
linebacker Ahmad Brooks ..David Akers and Punter Andy Lee...Looks like a
Pro Bowl Team! Ok Why? Why is all this talent spotting Carolina a
measly one point? Vegas don't give money away ya know... Well One reason
may be Greg Roman, The 49'ers offensive coordinator,With all that
talent on Offense the 49ers output is shitty to say the least..Now for
some odd reason everybody is after this guy for Head Coaching Jobs and
he is eager as hell to land one...
49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman will interview Saturday for the Minnesota Vikings head-coaching job, one day before San Francisco plays the Carolina Panthers in a divisional playoff game, league sources say.
It will be the continuation of a chaotic week for Roman.
After San Francisco beat Green Bay on Sunday, Roman interviewed in Chicago on Monday for the Penn State head coaching position, a job Vanderbilt coach James Franklin reportedly landed.
Roman then flew back to San Francisco and spent this week preparing for another head coaching interview and Carolina.
It also puts Roman in a tricky spot.
A win would help the 49ers and his credentials but might wind up
hurting his candidacy as some teams do not like to wait too long to hire
their head coach.
The Vikings also were interviewing 49ers defensive-line coach Jim Tomsula this weekend, sources said.
Roman is off giving Interviews instead of focusing on Carolina,It is
not in his best interest to win this game and prolong the season..Now
I'm not saying he will Throw the game but certainly his gameplan for
this game won't be his best with all the distractions, extra Travel and
interviews....Myself, I don't see why he is so sought after..But if he
lands one of these Jobs it will be like hitting the Lottery for him, so
his mind is not all there on this game plan and let me tell ya, Carolina
has a Great Defensive Coordinator in this Chess Matchup.. Panthers defensive coordinator is Sean McDermott: From 1999 till 2011 he was with the Eagles Defensive coaching staff and worked under The Late Great Jim Johnson..He runs his blitzes and schemes from what he Learned From Johnson...He has plenty of Smarts and learned from the Best...

Pssst..hey buddy, yea YOU! Gotta little something else to share...
add in another Edge.. 49ers have to deal with their Pacific time body clocks playing in an early game on Eastern time.
Seattle played Atlanta last year in this round of the Playoffs and also
had the early time...guess what? Atlanta Jumped out to a 20-0 lead..

lets see how that 1st game works out for Greg Roman cause.... The Tennessee Titans took their coaching search on the road to San Diego, with Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt preparing for a divisional playoff game. The Titans confirmed Saturday morning that they finished interviewing Whisenhunt on Friday night. The team plane is scheduled to return to Nashville on Saturday. Whisenhunt started coaching as an assistant at Vanderbilt. He spent six seasons as Arizona's head coach, where he went 45-51 including the Cardinals' first Super Bowl berth in 2009. He was fired by Arizona on Dec. 31, 2012, after finishing 5-11. He also was offensive coordinator for Pittsburgh between 2004 and 2006. With the Chargers playing at Denver on Sunday, the Titans flew to California for the interview. Whisenhunt, 51, reportedly interviewed Thursday with Detroit, and he is expected to meet with Cleveland on Saturday after interviewing with the Browns twice last year before they hired Rob Chudzinski. Asked about three interviews in three days plus preparing for a playoff game, Whisenhunt
said Thursday it was not hard. "It's a playoff game," Whisenhunt
said. "That's where the focus has been. Anything outside of that has
been secondary."...I call Bullshit..

I put my money on the better coach who is Harbaugh with a more experienced playoff team in SF.
That being said there are some interesting stats on both these teams as they both went 12-4 and both faced similar competition in terms of opponent reg season records so I can see why this one is a pick'em type game.
Everyone who watched the GB/SF game last week will be on SF as they did the unthinkable and win in the Frozen Tundra against Rogers ... and now it's a no brainer that they are in a warmer climate in a revenge situation that this is an SF win all the way.
My personal feel is that of the two games remaining I think SD has a better shot to win on the road in Denver than does CAR.

the world is on them this is the easiest game in a while add in this. This is there 3rd week on the road and also out of the past 5 weeks 4-5 have been on the road I know they are professionals but they have been living out of a suitcase 4 out of the 5 past weeks. Sprinkle a little of East Coast West Coast which hasn't been that much of a factor of late but I think this is the easiest game OMO
