Going back to his college days, Peyton has played the role of being the favorite. Once in a while, he's a underdog (vs Nebraska in orange bowl...lost 42-17)
He's 0-4 against Florida(big rival back then)
So many flops as a big favorite in the playoffs (lost to Pittsburg as 8.5 pt fav at home, lost to Baltimore as 9pt fav at home)
Lost to Tennessee as 5pt favorite in 2000
Lost to chargers as 11 pt fav at home in 2008
His Super Bowl history(beat Rex gross man as a 7 pt favorite. Colts had a 55yd int return by kelvin Hayden to close the deal)
He lost to the saints as a 7 pt favorite vs New Orleans in his 2nd Super Bowl.
My point is that when it's crunch time and things are tough, he will not make the plays to get it done.

Good, bet against no. 18 and lose your money. Wake up man, the NFL is fixed, ie: the last time the Hawks were in the SB against the Steelers. Its easy, you can call hold or pass interference on pretty much any play. This is Roger's league, and Manning goes out a winner, end of story. Easiest bet all year....

Foolish thinking. Manning and Broncos win by 11 in a game that really isn't too close. You think Wilson will score more than 17 on Denver's defense? Not a chance.

Peyton against Gators. You may be right 0-4 instead of 0-3. He was kind of thrown out there his freshman year.At least two of those years Peyton tourched the Gators but the defense couldnt keep up with Spurriers fun and gun.
Saints coach makes a girly or brilliant gamble at beggining of 3rd qtr on the onside kick to turn game around and flip momentum on Colts beat down that was about to happen.Peyton was driving them for the win and wr dropped an easy catch that killed drive.
Glad you didnt bring up Ravens game last year as Peyton put them in the position to win it.
Will Carrol alter his base defense much---I doubt it. He's one of the few that doesnt need or use alot of disguised blitzs so I guess in a 2 week period will Manning have a plan with his 5 Wr's and company to attack and avoid the hits or sacks as he would expect to see.I thinks so. Broncos Off line underrated. Will Seatt jailbreak on Manning and put him in happy feet mode all game. Hell no! Will Seatts def have sucess at times -yep.
Im on Den and am just hoping that Carroll doesnt have a dirty tactic like a cheapshot planned for manning and take the 15 yd penalty if he can be crippled for game.Carrol is a ? character kind of guy that seems to be connected at times especially in his home games. He screwed USC and somehow Seatt keeps getting wrist slaps for the testing of PED's.
What I look at is look with my eyes at what Peyton has done over the past 5 years (I know he was injured). He had his team in position to win the SB last year but for not for a dumbass falling asleep on Denv secondary against Flucco.Give Manning credit for his good things and all the negative things you brought up are somewhat misleading. Open your eyes and see whats happening this season and for the past 5 years.I thinks the only way manning gets to having some "bad stats" is if Seatts off gets rolling on a pretty good bronco def or special teams scores or mafia refs are helping Seatt again and manning is forced out of his gameplan.

You make some good points and some arent as good.

Seattle ML easiest play ever. Fade Peyton! He has zero chance beating Seattle. Defense wins championships and Peyton is overrated due to strength of schedule. Hawks roll easy

All the Peyton behind kissers, name me one time where Manning has a game winning drive in a big game. By big game, I mean, playoffs/super bowl games. For every one you name, I can list 5 games that he choked.
If denver wins, it's because other guys are stepping up.

Ironic,, that Terry McAulay was the ref at that Orange Bowl loss by Peyton Manning and his last career college game..

Why do you think Denver's defense is good?
