Its part time gig because its 60 mins once a week about 6 to 8 months a year. I guess they could watch film and practice. All these refs lead secret lives we never see them in a interview or watching a replay of a game and hear how the grade their performance. Or even see the NFL grading them. The most important guys on the field in deciding the outcome and they are like ghost. Gone in a flash after the game!

The only time that a corrupted ref has been held accountable in my memory was when pissed off Steeler fans about ten years ago found out where one of them lived and threw rocks threw his window...he was a school principal. Do I approve of such behavior...no I don't. I would have preferred that they dragged his as$$ out of his home and hung him in a tree.
Some believe that the outcomes of some of the high profile games are controlled by the Overlords thru some questionable calls by the refs. When there are tens of millions of dollars at stake say what you will but things get funny with the money in any human equation. Money might not be the only reason either.
Conspiracies...oh hell yes, human beings are very conspiratorial...
The game itself was an old fashioned defensive battle...Buffalo deserved the win and their D played great and I was impressed by their ability to gash the Pitts' D with their run game.
I was not thrilled by the play of the Steelers' Oline...since Mike Munchak left for Denver after last year, there was been a serious decline in their play. A good coach can make a big difference. The Pitts' offensive game plan sucked but a lot of that had to do with the great play of the Buffalo D.
Aside from a very few plays, Pitts could not run at all...still and yet they fought on bravely and had the lead after 3 quarters...it was far from a blowout.
Now the Bills go to Foxborough...will they pee down their legs? Why can't they kick some of that Pats' heiny too?
