Had a monsterous overall weekend (college & pros) capped off by a rather easy cash last night on Pitt & the ML...
Looking to make it 3-0 on MNF tonight with my largest play of the season thus far on:
BeaRs ML +115
I capped this game from all angles and tried talking myself down as I loved the Bears in this spot all week but have been skeptical of the line, but I just don't see the Jets really even being too close at the final whistle in this one. All I keep hearing is the public is all over the Bears, yet all I see is Jets love from all sides. Regardless, I don't buy into that aspect alone too much.
Jets have the #1 rushing D and rushing offense....what that stat doesn't show is the teams they played and how those games unfolded. Not taking anything away from their rushing D, cause it's legit, but if you dissect the 2 games against Oakland and GB, you'll see what I'm talking about. Those 2 teams only rushed a combined 27 times and it was a banged up Lacy and a combo of MJD and McFadden....nothing too crazy and much too small of a sampling to make that the overwhelming reasoning in all this Jets love.
Now the Bears D is hurting and not very good, but you don't have to be very good when you go up against a very bad offense, and that's what this Jets team is right now.
Forte is on another planet compared to CJ and Ivory, a banged up Marshall and Jeffery are on another galaxy then a banged up decker and whoever else you wanna mention, and Cutler is just in another country from Geno.....the offenses aren't even close to comparable. The Jets corners are in BIG trouble tonight, and the best way to combat a strong blitz is a strong running back...and I expect to see a LOT of dump offs tonight to Forte when this happens and the Jets will be forced to back off a bit.
Sure, Cutler is gonna take a pounding and I'm actually expecting at least a turnover or two, but at the end of the day I'll take a far superior offense over a much better defense.
It's Monday night, it's the NFL....anything can happen, but I just don't see these 2 teams even being close from an overall talent standpoint.
BOL Tonight ALL!

Had to sweat it out slightly there with the ridiculous increase in defensive injuries lol, but like I said, I'll take a FAR superior offense over a better defense 10 times out of 10, especially as a dog.
Great end to a smokin hot weekend and keeps me rolling on Monday Nights

Let's be real phantom the only reason Jets lost that game was because of mistakes. There was no far superior anything is this game and if Geno doesn't make so many mistakes then the result would have been different. The Bears were holding on for dear life the entire 4th quarter and Jets almost won anyway despite getting butchered by the refs all night long. GL next week

We can say this about a lot of games. The fact is the Bears capitalized on the Jets mistakes. In addition, the Jets had the ball in the red zone 6 times and only came away with one TD.

And that's what I mean VV...you kinda proved my main point for me. People can say what they want about Cutler, but he didn't make those mistakes and has a FAR superior supporting cast. Their offense is much better...period. And I saw the ref thing completely the other way to be honest....felt the Jets were the ones getting the calls and the Bears should've had about 4 more int's then they ended up with. Really wasn't as close as you think, even with the 10th string D

Thanks Guys

What about Cutler's blatant fumble that for some reason the ref missed and called the play dead. The Jets scored a touchdown on that play but instead got the ball at the 46 and went 3 and out.
Definitely a game changer for sure.
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.
