It's FINALLY Here....NFL BABY!!!!! 2nd Happiest day of the year (Sunday's first!)
Loving tonight's play and going against the grain a bit:
PaCKeRs +6
I think this game is the perfect storm for Rodgers and the Pack and honestly like them to win this one outright so will be making a smaller ML +210 play as well.
Rodgers was out most of last season. Now he's healthy and is being giving much more freedom to run this high powered offense which will result in no huddles, better situational calls, and I expect a much smoother tempo. The Packers D is solid, not outstanding but not bad....has potential. The Seahawks lost some good players on D and I think they will take a slight step back this year in that regard. That coupled with the new NFL rules affecting how defense is played should result in some great opps for Rodgers and Co.
I also believe this is a statement game for Rodgers. After being out most of last season, he opens up the new season healthy and going up against the Best D AND the super bowl champs. I think there will be a little something extra in the tank tonight in the hopes of having a big game against the #1 D and getting the chatter changing to a new direction.
I see this one being close, but 6 points is a joke IMO and I really like the Pack to pull off the outright upset.
