Hey guys, went 1-1 last Thursday night, betting on a Washington Redskins team that consistently shits the bed every time they are on National TV. Clearly Kirk Cousins doesn't know how to play QB and his interceptions were awful. Over hit easily even though we had to wait until late in the 4th for both teams to score some TDs.
Overall posted record on the season is 4-2, though had a pretty good Sunday this past week - just didn't have a chance to post and won't count it to my record here. All I have to say is that Arizona has been pretty much free money this season so far... though would be cautious about them this coming week.
For tonight, I just have one pick, and that's the Baltimore Ravens. This is an 0-3 team going off against a 2-1 Steelers team, but I wouldn't let the record fool you. The Ravens could easily be 2-1 as well... just let a couple of the games get away from them given their defensive struggles. My prediction is that the Ravens defense will step up tonight when facing the 35-yr old Michael Vick, who is certainly no Big Ben. I don't think the Steelers will find any offensive rhythm, while I do think that the Ravens Offense will do well against this new Steelers defense. I expect to see Steve Smith Sr. step up big time tonight and score a few TDs.
With that said, the public isn't overwhelmingly in favor of the Ravens, which is probably a good thing since I am taking them tonight. I'm going with a mix of the spread and the ML and making this bet 3x my normal 1U bet... I think this is a really good spot tonight and so I'm putting 2x on -2.5 and 1x on the -155ML. 3.75x to win 3x is what I will be rolling with tonight.
BALTIMORE RAVENS -2.5 and ML -155 is the PICK tonight.

60/40 split certainly doesn't qualify as "overwhelming" in my book... to be expected that there would be more money on the Ravens given the injury to Big Ben. Still, much better than a 70/30 or 80/20 when the public just goes nuts on one side.
