I think the Steelers will put up some points. I think the 49ers will put up some points. over and under 43. I'll go over.
Best of fortune to everyone..

I don't think that Pitts has any answer for the TE Kittle (one of the best in the NFL)...their strong safety Edmunds is big but he runs like he has snowshoes on. LB Bush has size and speed but he has to stay home to help stop that 3 headed monster running attack (Brieta, Moster and co.).
Minka Fitzpatrick will be used as a free safety until he learns their system (which consists of blown coverages/maybe he can change all of that).
Then you have Shanahan, a brilliant tactician versus Pitts' head coach who isn't ready for prime time. Pitts has talent but it is wasted by this mediocre Pitts' coaching staff...Rudolph gets his first start but those four 49er Dlinemen can bring the pressure.
The Pitts' receiving corps needs to get separation...they have finally benched Moncrief and will start the rookie Diontae Johnson in his place. JuJu will be in the slot but after two games he has zero TDs with 15 receptions but no game changers.
I think the motivation advantage will go to Pittsburgh as they are 0-2 but will that be enough to carry them? The unknown factor is how Rudolph will be able to handle adversity on the road in his first full start.
I see some quick and easy scores from that SF offense. Anyone who has watched that Pitts' D for the last couple of years knows that they can't be trusted to hold leads into the 4th quarter (even at home) but I don't see them being ahead in this game late.
Looking at goat droppings and tea leaves has led me to believe that this game will be a coming through slaughter for the Benmeister's replacement...

Pittsburgh have 569 total yards through 2 games. Of the 0-2 teams, the only 2 teams with less total yards are the Jets and Dolphins, that is how bad they are. They will continue to be bad without AB and Big Ben of which they have a 1-2 record when those two are not playing. Big Ben lead the league in passing yards last season and could probably help dig the Steelers out of the ditch without AB. Their sole win came in the last game of the 2017 season against the 0-16 Browns.
This 49er's team is not the 0-16 Browns, in fact they easily covered their first two games 2-0. These are two teams going in drastically different directions and no matter how much respect the public pays to the Steelers brand, it is not going to be enough to will a cover from them this week, don't buy the half point bringing it to +7 since you are just wasting your money on 25% juice. I wouldn't expect a combined points blow out either. San Fran is 4th in the league in rushing yards/game which would point to a low scoring game. Steelers are 4th worst in league when it comes to pts/game and San Fran is 7th best at points allowed per game.
