Hello Covers Community! In a very ho-hum slate for NFL handicappers, here goes….
Going to Tampa today. Does everyone remember how, after week 2, all the talking heads were absolutely raving about what the Saints were doing? 91 points in two games? Wow! Flip forward to reality.
The Bucs need to win today. At home. Laying 15. Versus the Saints without Kamala. I believe the home team wins today.
But….
Darren Rizzi is a tough SOB. On a coaching staff in the past with Sean Payton and Dan Campbell. This is probably, most likely, the last game Rizzi will ever have the title “NFL Head Coach”. A special teams coach resume, his whole plan is to shut down TB this game, especially after the Pirates put up 51 last week. The Saints have played admirably since they fired Allen. Trusting a guy who was, once, the head coach at the University of Rhode Island. So….a former Ram is leading the Saints. Like it.
As Engelbert Humperdinck sang….. “I’ll take under, under, under”.
Under 44.5 for me today in Tampa.
