Question for the forum. If Mahomes Really Had A Concussion Last Week, Why Did Every Major Sports Book Have A Line up 5 Minutes After They Barely Held On To Make it To The Conference Championship? With their best player 50/50 to see action this week (At best)? I Never Saw 2.5. I Only Saw KC -3. What if He gets hit in the head this week? Why should we believe that he would be able to continue to play this week? His ability to run for 1st downs has always been an important factor, in their offensive attack. Inquiring minds would like to know. When have you ever witnessed a teams point spread moving from  -10 to -7 in a matter of 15 minutes, with no major late key injuries to a top player. I never have, & I've been gambling on sports, all my life. Win or Lose I'll post my plays on Sunday. I know for a fact that many sports services come on these posting forums to steal players picks, who are running hot. And I hate sports services that play with other people's money. 95% of them are scammers who fudge their records to deceive the gullible. If you could pick winners, why not just bet the games yourself & use your own cash? I think you know the answer. Be back on Sunday.

 It was announced on Monday or Tuesday that Mahomes didn't actually have a concussion. He tweaked a nerve in his neck. He went through concussion protocol because he did hit his head, but I think it was more of a formality than anything else.

 No clue what you are talking about -10 to -7....are you referring to the Browns line movement?  It was -9/-9.5 that morning and dropped to -7.5/8 across the board....1 to 1.5 point move, happens every Sunday....

 That's weird. Not disputing your report but when he got up he had the spaghetti legs and needed two guys to cart him off the field. That sounds like a  concussion to me.

And if he did have a concussion and they want to call it something else, all it takes is his brain to be shaken inside his head again and he'll be back to square one. That can happen from a hard push out of bounds and him hitting the turf.

 The announcers all called it a concussion over & over again. What was said on Tuesday is irrelevant.  I tape every game I bet to see if I should just call it a bad pick or was unlucky. I watched the concussion play over 20X. At no point does either his head hit the ground or is the tackle made around his head. I saw 7 -20 in two different sportsbooks before game time. If people only have one or two outs, they can't tell how the line moved. It was 10 & went down to mostly 7.5. But not to be redundant there were also 7 's around. The game smelled like a can of cat food. And I'm not just saying it because I had KC. I'm saying what my eyes & ears reflect.

 I noticed that line dip before the game as well. It was HUGE, went from -9.5 to -7 on Bookmaker, which is not a volatile book. I assumed somebody important had been ruled out for KC. I also saw the KC futures to win the AFC dip from -140 to -130. The whole things was strange for sure.

Sometimes those lines do tell the story. When the Lakers were playing the Blazers after Kobe died they were 11 point favorites and the ML was -1100 while the Blazers were +950. Then, about 10 minutes before tip, the Blazers ML dips to +700 while the ATS holds steady. Very rarely have I seen something like that. Big money must have come in on the Blazers ml last minute. As you may recall, the Blazers won outright.

 Who knows? They play so many games. You can be sure every week there is some funny business going on. That's for sure. Where ever there is big money involved, there's always going to be some corruption. I can prove it, but sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut.

I’m not even suggesting that people are throwing games, only that there are those with much better ”information” than we have. When I first started gambling and didn’t know what I was doing I paid some money to a shady tout who claimed he had insider info on some college games. Well, one night the tout calls me and tells me to put 5 grand on division 3 college team that is favored by 24!!! I thought the guy was nuts but I did it anyway because I had paid for the pic (so I was nuts too:) You can imagine my consternation when the score was tied after the first quarter and my team only had a 7 point halftime lead. But then the second half came, and even though my team was up by 27 at the end of the 3rd they kept running up the score. They simply had to run the ball a few times to ice the game. But they kept pouring it on, as if they knew the score. 

Hey Redlad like your insight. What do you make of the spread staying at -3 for a few days now?

 They usually do not throw games, they shave points. That way they can feel they're not doing anything so terribly wrong.

 Earlier Game = Packers - 3.5  2*       I Like late game much more. Will post an hour before game starts.

Going to have to move later game down to a 4* Because every tout & their mothers seem to be on Packers & Chiefs. Which is never a good sign. Still the Chiefs are clearly the better team. They have the better quarterback, better coach & are more well-rounded than the Bills. Bills have been very good against the run, but not so much in the latter part of the season. I think the Chiefs were already looking ahead in the 4th quarter of last week's game.

i didn’t see the mahomes “concussion” play but I thought he may have suffered a more severe hit to the head earlier in the game. I was surprised they didn’t take him out for that play to check on him.

 Agree with analysis but zero chance you’re looking ahead to another team in the 4th Q of a division champ game. Totally disagree with that angle.

 I just thought they had the game in hand & that's why they thought it would be wise to make sure Maholmes was able to make sure he didn't get hurt again. He did have a gimpy ankle. I could be wrong. Anyhow, Good Luck with your bet's today.

Well 4* Wins Easily 2* Might Have Got There If A Certain Tout Didn't Make Green Bay Their Game Of The Year.

I'm A Little Disappointed Chiefs Didn't Win By More, But They Got Off To A Horrible Start. Maholmes Certainly Didn't Play Like A Man With A Concussion.

Andy Reid Is Now The Best Coach In The NFL IMO.
