Studying college players is a full time job of many scouts and a GM. They go to the combine, Pro Days, individual workouts, interviews, etc. They study film all year long. They have contacts at the schools that they talk to about prospective players.
The rest of us know nothing.
All these big mouths that come on here and act like they are draft experts make me laugh.

kind of like the guys who post picks on here and dont even know what the rules are at their shop about the bets they make like a rain shortened game? even the scouts who do the job full time dont even get half the picks correct, its a job where if you hit 50% its pretty good, once your a scout too, you're always connected.

If the so called experts , coaches, GMs , Tv experts, explayers and scouts were any good at it.....then people couldn't say anything but the fact remains there are very few teams that draft well year in and year out.
Moving from college to pro where they are given a lottery ticket of money is a very unproven science. SO our guesses almost prove as good as theirs which is very sad considering all the work these people do.
I do have this to say about the combine, it looks they finally decided that running in shorts isn't that important, which wasn't rocket science, with as much film as they watch they should be able to judge everything by film except aditude.
