Public wins again

who says the public never wins, few times this weekend....I see these post all the time that Vegas wont let it happen......oh well

yup its amazing. public loves the primetime overs and thats all they do is go over

It's early in the season.. I Think the sharps had the Saints at 5.5 and 6 as well...Of course the public jumped on later on as well

NEVER BET AGAINST THE PUBLIC

i personally choose to bet against the public when i think its wise and have been gettin killed lately. Public is having a nice run lately 

bet against the public at the right time, not all the time. See Baltimore and Cincinnati this past weekend.

This has been an unusual year so far. According to Cover's trend numbers, Home faves are 23-16 ATS for 58.97% and home dogs are 12-9 for 57.14%. Home teams won't continue to cover at that rate so beware.

Generally, going against Peyton and Brees at home on primetime is not a wise bet. I try to explain this but no one seems to understand. Hopefully covers community figures it out in the next few weeks. Maybe by like week 8 or so halfway through the season

 

Public is sharp, get it!  

That's totally fine by me if they choose to ignore it. If everyone understood not to bet against Brees and Manning at home in Primetime, then we'd be looking at inflated lines.

Who said the public won tonight???? I ask my local which happens to be someone i've been friends with since i was a kid so he has no reason to lie to me how the betting was going a few minutes before kickoff and he said he had a little more on the dolphins than saints but said everybody and his brother keeps pounding the under!  He says they pounded the under in the falcons game also the night before then says the most money he has ever held on a game was saturday night when they pounded the over in the oregon game, and he's been booking for 30 years or more! ,,,,, yes he losses games a plenty i suppose but its not because of some bs consensus numbers you ran across on some public website,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, those fkn public consensus things you all look at are not accurate, half are correct and half are not in the long run, why would you think it would be any other way?,,,,, their not going to hand out reliable info for you to kick their a sses with, good grief, get a clue already! 

Foolish tool, you are very right. Public percentages are a bunch of bullshit. Why would any book allow bettors to see live percentages to compare with line movement. Ignorance is bliss in this game

books don't give a s h I t if the public knows.......they have nothing to hide

this whole betting against the public BS will crush you in the long run ......it will screw with your mind.

Honestly the public lines is such a misleading stat because those are only the plays that legit casinos and sportsbooks took in, and probably 75% of the public bets through a book.  Then you also have to add in the fact that was the since the opening line, so ya the saints opened at -3.5 and the sharp bettors were all over that, but then tonight when the spread was 7.5 I started getting more and more phone calls of people taking miami...

sorry its late i jumbled my words, but ya I think that betting against the public should be a part of your strategy, but it can really screw you over because the public does win sometimes, and those percentages would have looked a lot different if vegas didnt add in the people who got the saints at -3.5 and only considered the picks w the saints at 7.5 or the closing line, because i think the majority of the public places their wager about a half hour before kickoff
