Stats and eyeballs seem to agree that the edge of Line-play belongs to Rams; but Joe B has displayed some cool & collected, and Matthew S hasn’t really… certainly not with any consistency. Joe’s played in SEC and National Championship games, and recently, his collected/cool has been on display in some pretty tough live or die NFL road games. Matty S can get hot without a doubt, but in high stress situations, his cool, calm, and collected have been hit or miss. More pressure on Matt S who must be seeing the signs of the end of a career nearing….
anything can happen. Some will be deemed capping wizards, and others capping hoes paid by the books whose sole purpose is to misguide, when, in reality, some obtuse bounce of the ball, or some fucked up flag/call that can’t or won’t get reversed, will likely determine winner and cover.
In this matchup, (well always) the correct call is not to wager more than your willing to lose, pray that the the bounce or the call favors you, and enjoy the game for what it is. I’m leanin Joe Bengals and the points, because that’s who I’ll be rooting for as a sports fan. I’ll look to add a couple props for fun and diversification, but if this weren’t the SB, it’d likely be a no play.
By the way, I took a 6 year trip to gambling Hiatus that ended with this years playoffs because all my financial efforts were to get my offsprings through college without massive debt hanging over them.
Do not tail. I’m 2-5 and down damn near a dime… but I swear it’s been the call, or the bounce of the ball
Good luck to all! Enjoy in good health!

Good stuff, bud...and BIG congrats for having the discipline to help your kids with college tuition before getting back to the fray!!
In your own words, "...in reality, some obtuse bounce of the ball, or some fucked up flag/call that can’t or won’t get reversed, will likely determine winner and cover."
So true. The teams playing every year are in theory the two best; certainly playing the best football at the end of January. And that's why, as guys have in the forum, the spread doesn't matter in the overwhelming percentage (like 90%) of the 55 games played. And in DD spreads, the faves are SU only 5-6-1 all-time, so the dogs are legit, with or without the points. It really does come down to more than + and - written on a piece of paper. And bottom line, I hope the spread doesn't matter again this year.
Good health and good fortune to you and to all
