With the Public overwhelmingly on Arizona, I know who I will
favor. Surprisingly, I amtaking the favored Saints -- the Public
often goes by the, "What have you done for me lately?" mentality. I
will be "selling" Arizona's dramatic OT victory over Green Bay -- and
"buying" New Orleans on a down swing -- as they stumbled in the final
weeks of the NFL regular season.
In addition to "buying low" and "selling high" -- I have been informed of lots of big money bets coming in on New Orleans. I always follow the Smart Money. So there you have it: I will"bet against the Public" and follow the "Sharps" as I take a rare
favorite. I expect the Saints to "come back to form" now that the
playoffs have begun for them. The Saints were 13-0 at one point this
season -- and they led the league in net points (PF minus PA). Give the
points.
New Orleans Saints -7 +102
As a side note I have a small lean on the under here as well. The odds are against the over...combined in there last 20 games they have went over that number 3 times with 1 being last week. In there last 10 matchups they have not went over that number either. Small play on under 57

If one bases his plays solely on going against the public, he gives himself a 50% chance of winning. Joe Public wins 50% of his straight bets, so this is not a winning strategy. In the long run, you will lose because of the vig.
I like the Saints this weekend, but not because of what the public is doing. I predict the Saints get some of the magic back they had earlier in the season against this emotionally spent Arizona squad. Look for Arizona to struggle offensively this week as the Saints will have fresh legs and a good game plan to stop a Cardinal offense that wasn't consistent this year. Also lean to the under as I see a 31-17 type score.

Look at my thread in covers Website Promotions forumn. It has a link to an article about these divisional games that I think you will like to read. I had it it the foorball forumn but the PMing Mods keep moving it to the other forum. Anyway it's titled:
I also copied and pasted it in sections on the football forumn and each sections title ends with PASTED.
Good Luck. Like the Saints also, but lean over in a 45-35 type of game.

Are the Saints getting back some previously injured defensive player? I have not looked and if I did not sure that info is accurate, if so where did you hear the info? If not I like over.

This game is a shootout!! any thoughts of under will lost after 1 half of play. 2 tds a qtr is not a tough task for these teams. my money will be on the total because who knows who will catch the break in this game. I see about 3 punts in this game total and that might be a little high. That should be a prop. HOW MANY PUNTS WILL THERE BE IN THE GAME?
