Rodgers looked good last week after a shaky start. Moved in the pocket good. Green Bay's OT's Bakhtiari and Barclay held up well enough in first matchup vs SF to allow Rodgers to throw for over 300 yards and 3 td (1 int). (offensive line - 2 sacks allowed) In the playoff matchup last year Rodgers had 257 2 td and 1 int. They only allowed 1 sack and Bakhtiari is a rookie this year. Green Bay's running game has improved and makes the passing game more dangerous. Randall Cobb looked good and looks like the original top WR's are back playing together again. The only loss from the beginning of year was the TE Finley. Quarless isn't the same pass catcher as Finley but has been productive for Rodgers.
Two of San Fran's top corners are questionable but even with them there, I like Rodgers to have a good day.
Kapernick will have all day to throw. GB has been rotating in #55 Mulumba an undrafted free agent pass rusher with Nick Perry and Mike Neal, even though Mulamba took a lot reps away from Perry last game. That tells you what they think Nick Perry right there. Mike Neal has his moments but no way he provides consistent pressure. Mike Daniels is their best interior pass rusher. Raji has been a huge disappointment in a contact year. Vs the run game, Raji used to get penetration in the backfield and drive his man back but that's hasn't been happening this year. Green Bay had Frank Gore in check in the opener but late in year teams have been running it on Green Bay's defense all. Clay Matthews and Johnny Jolly are out.
Green Bay's secondary continually has coverage busts though there's things I like about Davon House and Sam Shields. Tramon Williams has been a huge disappointment and their young nickel back Heyward is out. Burnett is ok at one safety spot and their still struggling to find someone to play next to him.
AJ Hawk has been a little above average. His play has tailed some of late compared with how productive he was earlier in the year. Brad Jones is a complete disaster at the other linebacker spot. Jabari Lattimore has gotten some reps at the other linebacker spot but has failed to make Packer coaches from Brad Jones.
Green Bay tt o 22.5.... 1 unit
lean to San Fran -2.5
lean over 45.5
Good Luck
