No they won't. I give him a year or 2. If nothing happens then he's gone.
There are no more excuses for Romo now. His last excuse was waived tonight.
owens an excuse? does anyone really think romo will play better without him? is that what jerry jones really thinks? ........wouldn't be surprised to see ROMO struggle

My team position I play for the Dallas Cowboys is the "official myopic homer for life long Cowboy fan 4life", whom is not afraid to call it like I see it. My base salary is $18.75 per hour, 40 to 50 hrs a week, a life time contract with an option, my contract is guaranteed cause I'm with the union.
Tony Simpson sucks, he's a terrible leader. Tired of that stupid smirk he has on his face after they lose, and all he does is shrug his shoulders and says "it is what it is". I want to see him get in a lineman's face when they miss a block or an assignment. I wanted for him to get in T.O's. face when T.O. is ranting and raving like a lunatic on the sidelines. But it to late for that cause Jerry Jones seen that person was not capable of that so he did Jessica Romo a favor and got T.O. off the team.
Like I've said before I never wanted T.O. on Dallas in the first place ( Pacman either). But I was forced to cheer for them in hoping that they could help the team I root for win a super bowl title. I feel no remorse for Owens, he did it to himself. This is the third time he has gotten himself booted from the team for locker room issues. Good luck to him on catching on with another team.

the only 2 problems are the fact that romo and wade phillips are both softer than boneless chinchillas.........if jerry jones or anyone else for that matter thinks getting t.o. off the team will improve the team, or will make romo/wade grow at least 1 ball each..then the joke is on them....
BIG TIME.

TO WAS a big problem, he is not the only problem but him gone will be a positive.
Too bad Jerry Jones got rid of Parcells infavor of TO, BP is the person they need at the HC position.
Romo still has Witten and Roy Williams(we'll see) and Crayton(again, we'll see) at WR, along with a good running attack, if they get back to running the ball and not trying to pass all the time they will be fine.

Basic problem is of course Jerry and his use of 'boys as personal "play toy"... > and his insistence on being GM too (as owner he's great).......The reason he has such a hard time giving up these duties is that he REALLY thinks his "football" knowledge was one of main reasons that they won 3 Super Bowls....EVERYONE ....but Jerry... of course knows that Jimmy J was the last word on anything football...Jimmy was essentially the GM too .......Jerry in name only > his contributions (many) were doing what he does best...making deals....promotion...making $$
For Cowboy fans ...the only hope is that things go downhill fast > Jerry WILL recognize need for change (especially if economy still stinks....costing him $).....> and Jerry begins slowly fading away...allowing oldest son Stephen a more prominent role...
Stephen supposedly very sharp....(many think driving force behind TO release)....Jerry wanted to keep him ...Stephen convinced him otherwise.
So what has evolved is a team with no "natural leaders"...AND...one not conducive to creating new leaders....players are babied and not accountable.....since Jimmy left players have been able to go over coaches head and straight to Jerry....man you couldn't run an all night bowling alley that way.
CAN blame Romo...but shouldn't.....he's ALWAYS been a happy go lucky /talented guy..."that could be great at everything if only he would take things more seriously" < said by elementary school teachers to college coaches. Thrust into leadership role before he was ready > scout team grabass guy to tough ...get in your face super bowl caliber QB just like that ??? say what ?.....very interesting to see what he does this year ...some suggest he's peaked ???.....gotta hand it to the guy >> gone from maybe managing local Sonic to bangin Carrie U....and Jessica S < my main criticism...shoulda stayed with Carrie
