It looks like Rams opened as a slight favorite before NE beat the Chiefs. Right after they defeated the Chiefs the line was NE -1.5. That's why my info said the line opened at NE -1.5. I'd go by that.
I consider the opening line to be whatever it was once the result vs KC is known, which is NE -1.5

No wait... I see what's happening.

Thanks. I also saw the gazillion stats you put up against NE before the chiefs game, and how did that work out?
What the NFL wants, the NFL gets. Most of these stats are from an era when there were not billions in revenue at stake and playoff games were officiated more evenly.

Pats did not rest before playoffs, Brady was the only QB with pass att last game before playoffs and threw a TD pass with 3:26 left in the 4th quarter.
Sony had the most carries by far and yards as did the starting recievers,

Nice stat but does not apply here.

The refs were not even able to force Rams into the Superbowl. Maybe you forget but prior to that missed call the refs were not favoring the Saints.
And more importantly after the missed call the Saints were still up 23-20 and had the opportunity to stop the Rams on defense. Then the Rams made it 23-23 to send it to overtime where Saints even had the big advantage of receiving the ball first and they still couldn't win!!
Most of the credit should still go to the Rams for winning this game in spite of the super stupid missed call. I'm sick and tired of how much some people believe the refs control the winners, it's just not so. I agree it was the worst call I've seen in the NFL, but Rams still did most of the work to win this game. Saints had more than enough opportunity to win after that if they were truly the better team.

rams should be favored, however it’s impossible to have Brady as a dog

Please stop saying missed call, i'm asking nicely. It's absurd, be better than that. The play was seen clearly, it was not close at all and it was hard helmet to helmet hit on top of everything else. NOBODY MISSED ANYTHING. The infractions were clearly seen and they were chosen to be ignored. Why should the Saints have to win the game twice? That's also crazy. They made a great call and great play and the only way the Rams could stop it was to commit an obvious and egregious infraction and have the refs allow them to get away with it. The game was over right there, assuming the Saints can make an old school extra point 20 yard field goal on the last play of the game after they ran the clock down. The game was over. Asking a team to win it again after they already won it and were blatantly robbed of it is pure insanity and the definition of injustice. The Saints won the game despite being screwed by the refs for the entire game, and still they screwed again at the end to give the Rams yet another chance to win. They did everything in their power to give the game to the Rams and they managed to in the end. The game was an abomination to the idea of fair play in sports. I just don't get how people view garbage like that and don't see everything that is wrong and corrupt with it. Please stop saying the missed it. Nobody missed anything, Stevie Wonder could see all of what happened it all happened so flagrantly and so much earlier than the ball ever arrived. Where were they all looking then, at one another jockstraps?? They saw it, every part of the multiple infractions on the play. THEY CHOSE NOT TO CALL ANY OF THEM. They then completely ignored the coach screaming at them in disbelief as men's lifelong dreams were ripped from them by NFL thugs in stripes so that their bosses could have the matchup they desired. The calls the Rams got against Dallas were just as disgusting and I won a boatload of money on the Rams that game, all posted right here and I thank the NFL for helping me cash it all in.

I mean prior to the missed call the refs were not favoring the Rams*
There were a ton of defensive holding and pass interference calls that should have been made against Ram defenders that were not the entire game. They were given a free pass to interfere with Saints receivers throughout the game. Ofcourse there was also the blatant helmet to helmet head shot that knocked the Saints tight end Josh Hill out of the game giving him a concussion. No call on the play. This was huge to the game as the Saints were already without their starting tight end Ben Watson. This also was an obvious and egregious no call on which a man was allowed to be seriously injured when a clear helmet to helmet hit occurred. No penalty on the play.
I have to wonder if some of you guys even watch the games.......

Missed call merely means something they didn't call that they should have. Isn't that exactly what this was?
I agree there's no justifying this, Saints should've walked off the field when it happened.
