The reason that I picked Houston , that because HOuston will pick Johnny Manziel....and I think Houston is not bad to go against the spreads....all season long.....take Houton with Johnny Manziel ...then you willl be safe all a long of the season.

If they do win, Wilson will be the reason. This guy has his sight set on winning 4 Super Bowls (that's what he said to Jim Gray). When I heard his interview with Gray, before the game on the radio, I put another grand on Seattle. He is wise beyond his years. Can't say enough about him.
If they lose, it will be because the NFL will crack down on the Seattle secondary, which gets away with murder. There was a great ESPN article about this last week. Seattle basically teaches/encourages their DBs to hold, grab do what they can to disrupt the offense because they know that the refs will not call every penalty. In fact, they'll maybe call one out of ten infractions because they don't want to muck up the game. No offense (as we saw today) can overcome Seattle's D, if they are allowed to play this way, and since the NFL wants more offense it would only make sense that they'll start cracking down on Seattle next year.

Hmm, what is Seattle looking like with paying Russ Wilson? It will only be his third year, but I gotta think the Hawks will do the right thing and get him paid.
Which is huge locking up their franchise QB for the next half decade plus, but like any team in a "cap" league who pays out big money to their star QB, they are gonna have to lose something elsewhere, and that will most likely be key pieces of that defense. So lose a guy or two in that beastly secondary, maybe a couple smaller guys who make special teams what they were in 2014, maybe an O-line player, and that makes it that much harder to repeat. Sprinkle in the fact that the NFC is as strong as I've seen a conference be in quite a long time, and in the West the bottom dwelling Rams IMO are better than half the AFC teams out there, SF could very well be the best team in the league(play them twice), and Arizona is building a nice team(play them twice). It will NOT be easy for a repeat.
BUT if Wilson and guys like Sherm hold off another year and respect their rookie contracts, and this team stays intact. If Harvin can stay on the field for once and compliment Baldwin who I think can make a step next year to a near elite WR. Sprinkle in a little Tate. The Beast can stay healthy. That defense can stay intact and healthy. Ride that out and get a bye and HF advantage......THIS IS A NASTY TEAM!!

I guess I was assuming all those things would happen, which, of course is not the case. The NFC west is very tough and Seattle will get every team's best effort next year (since they are the champs). If they can withstand that ware and tear and the NFL allows them to play the way they play in the secondary then they have a good shot at repeating.

There's a reason hardly any team repeats. They could be hit by a myriad of injuries to their key players, or go into the season with a serious hangover. We'll see. All I know is, they will be overvalued in the first few weeks of the season like any defending champ.
