public dogs aren&#x2019;t cashing like the used to.. not in the nba eitherI listened to a podcast article that I didn&#x2019;t pay much mind to that came from a bookmaker before the seasons started... it discussed with the new wave in sports betting and progressive in game wagers that &#x201C;if the dog covers the books take a terrible beat from live wagers&#x201D;Tossing this around in in my brain to make sense of it.. is the live betting clientele usually sharp? Are dogs getting seemingly good value as the game progresses and the perfect forumala for the favorite to slowly pull ahead as the game progresses?If know what you&#x2019;re doing and are experienced... I think most would agree that the books are taking a beating on these prime times...Idk im going to dig around with this a little something seems weird this season

I&#x27;m telling you now weather it&#x27;s last season or this season or next season or the season after that...Just when you think you have a beat on this sport we call gambling......it throws a curve ball at you and that&#x27;s because when you have the best of the best mind fuk$ in the business it&#x27;s very hard to beat them week in and week out.

It&#x2019;s just crazy that I thought with sports betting growing bigger it would just make my system that has worked for me simply get better...But just like any market you always have to make adjustments...I guess I&#x2019;m getting complacent there are always new angles... time to adjust

The biggest mistake bettors make is trying to interpret what Vegas thinks, or what Vegas is doing, or what the pro's and joe's are doing. Get all of that nonsense out of your mind to begin with.

Do your own work, back your own judgement and stand or fall on your own two feet. The only way to improve is to ignore all the noise completely, and look at YOUR results and see where you went wrong or right, and refine your approach or systems, knowing that YOU made all the decisions.

You can't do that if your calls were influenced by what you think someone else or some other entity was thinking or doing.

If you 'aint making your own calls 100% then you're just another one of the herd.

There are many good cappers who were rocking very high win rates early in the year...80%ish...

That just cannot continue...mathematically and statistically it must revert closer to the mean...

Therefore, at some point in the season, they WILL have 50% or worse weeks...

But as we all know, any season with a 60% + win rate is absolutely outstanding...

With the NFLs new "all offense, all the time" mantra, all kinds of new adjustments must be made...

Books are adjusting, so must we...

Sometimes Vegas doesn&#x27;t even know what they are doing and put out bad lines etc... they make their money mostly due to 1.) uninformed emotional betting, 2.) Poor money management and 3.) extreme premium charged/vig usually on prop bets (think -120 on a coin flip) teasers and parlays.
