Art the Lesser Rooney is 72 years old and the heir apparent is his son Daniel Martin aged 35. Maybe the son will take over sooner than later? Decrepit Roethlisberger, Mason Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky, Russel Wilson, Justin Fields
Yet Tomlin has made the playoffs 4 of 5 years.
The guy produces with what he is given at the QB position. You want to hate on the Steelers? Start with the GM.

This is a valid argument, but the Steelers also have by far the highest paid defense in the league and Tomlin completely dictates defensive personnel and scheme. And the defense fails badly against the real contenders again and again and again.
Fair enough. But I think with the Steelers D go through the same thing as Chicago's situation. Always strong but when you are on the field 75% of the game, you get exhausted, injuries pile up and your moral goes down the toilet. Especially when you are on the field for 6 minutes, only give up a field goal and then your offense goes 3 and out in 45 seconds and you have to immediately go back out on the field.
The steelers offense is an anchor on the entire team.
