Am I missing something??? As I scroll through covers forums I see the majority on Denver +5. Nothing from this past season tells me the Broncos can cover this spread with Peyton at the helm on a neutral field. If Carolina takes the lead EARLY which they will ,do you really trust Peyton's arm in leading a comeback against Kuechly,Norman and all the studs they have? He cant throw it past 20 yards with accuracy anymore and that's a fact. He can get lucky here and there with a jump ball but once they fall behind they will be forced to switch game plans and that will spell disaster for Peyton. Not to mention the recent distractions going on with confirmation of Ashley Manning Indeed receiving packages from the Guyer institute. Going against the #1 pass defense in the league the Broncos only shot of covering is winning the turnover battle its that simple. So if you see Cam Newton choking then I guess you have a point for Denver covering but that mofo Cam is playing the game like like i've never seen it played before. He is having fun and so relaxed just domination really. I'm from NE and when they played the Pats let me tell you Tom Brady and the OL played awful for the most part it was the worst I've seen the Pats all year. The pick on his own 10 yard line that was just a POOR pass forcing it to Gronk. Sure you can contribute most of it to "Denvers D" but most of it was Brady getting HAMMERED from straight line pass rushers against the Patriots 3rd string crappy slow as molasses outside OL.Their secondary didn't impress me much honestly. If and when Brady got any time in that pocket there was NO CHANCE of Denver winning that game. With the little time he got in the 4th he was slicing that Denver D. It was a gross performance by the Pats and they still almost won. Marcus cannon is trash worst OL in the league. If Denver rushes Cam like they rushed Brady I see Cam going over 100+ yards easily rushing the ball. Now let me get to the Broncos one dimensional offense, they need and WILL run the ball like no one has ever run the ball before to score points. I don't see it happening against Thomas Davis and Keuchly. Panthers have been rolling all year for the most part and when they got in the dangerzone in games it was against POTENT play makers like Drew Brees and Julio Jones who flat out won that game for Atlanta. Lets remember both Brees and Ryan can throw the ball 20+ yards with accuracy. Peyton doesn't have the star power anymore sure he has a HIGH IQ but so does the Panthers Defense. Lets not forget he got benched this year because they thought his arm was shot. He piggybacked his way to this Superbowl.Pittsburgh "should" of won the game and Pats beat themselves. It sounds like I am not giving Denever enough credit but facts are facts. Both teams were severely beat up with injuries. Broncos haven't had a blowout statement game in the better part of a month.Cam has been having statement games all year long it feels like. It has been a special season for MVP Cam. If Carolina loses it will be because they BEAT themselves I can guarantee that. If Panthers can control the turnover battle, I don't see this being a close game. Panthers 27 Broncos 17.
10 units on Panthers -4.
Goodluck to everyone just my 2 cents.
