Not sure what to make of Tennessee just yet, but Jacksonville will be worse than mediocre this year.
QB- Garrard is an 11 year mistake-prone, non-playmaking veteran on the backslide of a non-descript career. The #1 pick Blaine Gabbert was moved down to #3 on the depthchart behind Luke McCown. Ugh!
RB- MJD is primed for an injury-plagued unproductive season.
WRS- Can you name a wide receiver who plays for this team ? I rest my case
OL- Lots of nagging injuries to this unit, and the former 1st round left tackle Monroe has been disappointing. Coach Del Rio pointed to the O-line as the unit that needed to step up play the most from pre-season.
DL- Excellent meets awful. The tackles Knighton and Alualu may be the best young tandem in the league. The ends totally suck as evidenced by having the fewest sacks in the NFL for the past 2 years, and recording a grand total of 2 in the 4 pre-season games.
LB- Free agent Podslusny anchors the middle, and along with the DTs will make the up-the-middle run defense the strength of the entire team
DBs- Arguably the worst defensive secondary in the NFL. Enough said.
Jacksonville's starters were outscored 52-26 in the 1st half of the 4 pre-season games. Although I had low expectations for this team from the start, even I was taken aback by how truly terrible they look.
I expect to bet against the Jaguars almost exclusively this season, and Sunday should be no exception. It may be the last time you can get a Jags opponent at plus money on the moneyline.
My essay is over.

Totally disagree. I won't play against Jax this week because of the QB situation. I feel McCown actually gives the Jags a better shot at winning this game. He's a real passer, not a one-read and run guy. I just don't know how the team will respond to this unexpected change. Very interesting.
Again, I would recommend laying off this game altogether.
