How many 4th down fk ups and failures in big games is it gonna take before the media stops trying to sell us this nonsense that this guy is some savant on the sideline. If anything he is too clever for his own good. I think the whole hype on him is pure fiction and I always have, ever since we decided he didn't want to kick a FG in a 16-10 game that would have given them a 2 score lead and instead tried to RUN on 4th and 3 (the line, coincidentally, was 8) vs the Steelers 2 years ago.
Do you think if Andy Reid was coaching this team with all that WR talent that he would be incapable of beating the Buffalo Bills even once?
Having said that, NFL teams have in the last 2 years had a bad trend where teams up big at the half do nothing 2nd half, and Buffalo was one of the worst for it. They never play 2 good halfs and they didn't last week they only played the 2nd half well. But same with Miami.
Still, I think Miami will make this closee and suggest taking the points despite their snot nosed coach being an overrated idiot who should just be an assistant somewhere, he may be smart but he doesn't make the right decisions in game.

Jesus Mary and the wee doggie, that's both halves the clown QB throws a pick on the first drive and this one gets returned. I swear all these guys with the weird Hawaiian names cannot make the jump to the NFL as QBs, they don't have any brains, just stick to playing linebacker.
It was 3rd down why even do that you're punting anyway. A 2 score lead is not insurmountable but 3, forget it.
Eh, they were probably done anyway though, they lost a starting Olineman and already couldn't block Ed Oliver before that.

Then he misses a wide open TD, boy genius coach calls a run on 3rd and 3 (oh the new trend when you know you're gonna go for it on 4th you HAVE to run it on 3rd and medium now, brilliant stuff) and then he runs for the first down and dives headfirst for no reason and knocks himself out.
I feel bad he got hurt again but honestly this whole team doesn't have two brain cells to rub together. Absolute dipsticks. I gues what do you expect when the best player gets arrested driving to the stadium and thinks he can tell the cops not to knock on his window. I wish they would have knocked his child abusing azz out, and I don't even like cops.
If you took the Bills to win the division you can basically celebrate now. The only other team with any talent can't get out of their own way

I think it's hard to argue that McDaniel has a lot of work to do to regain his reputation. Seems like he's losing his team a little bit also.
I just wish I took the Bills to win the division but i was worried they wouldn't be as good without Diggs and I thought Miami might get their turn finally or maybe the Jets but based on what I've seen so far it was a missed opportunity.

I always thought McDaniels was a moron. I asked my wife tonight what is it in politics and football that if you assent to highest level of your profession you are an utter moron. Swear anyone with half a brain could do better then Mickie McDaniel!

What's worse is coaches all think this is what you do now, go for it on every 4th down and this has spawned a trend of running on 3rd and medium now. I fkn hate it. How bout you throw on 3rd down and then maybe you don't need to go for it on 4th down at all if you complete it! Like the way football has been played since forever! Usually these 3rd and medium runs don't work they know it's coming now it's not as clever as you think. Espn literally has a graphic saying 4th and 6 or less you should go? What? 4th and 5 or 6 is actually really tough to get on a decent defense. It's all just to push for games to be more volatile they don't want punts or FGs.
In the other game in college Texas St just did the same thing, tried a toss on the final possession on 3rd and 3 lost yards (because again, this doesn't surprise anyone and doesn't fkin work) and then went for it on 4th down in their own end and got stuffed. Pass it on 3rd down! The only time runs work is on 3rd and long you sometimes can get it with a draw but no one does that any more it seems.
But if you're an Under player all these drives that end in turnovers on downs is great. I guess if you're a FG kicker it's great too you get to stay seated most of the game tho i guess it's not so good to miss out on the reps. I did have the Under in Miami so that takes the sting out of it a little bit.
Tbh I'm the bigger moron taking this coach I've always hated, vs a team that's owned them, after their best player got arrested I mean the signs were all there not to take Miami, and I almost never play on a team that can't beat another team for a long stretch I always ride the team with the win streak until the tide turns.

Bills might still win the division but it won't be because they got better this off-season. From the two games i've seen so far, I am not convinced about their team at all. I think as long as Rodgers doesn't get some freak injury again, they will win it.

I think Miami play was fine, because I still believe the bills are much weaker than they were last season. Needed big luck in the first game and in this one Miami never showed up... Just how it goes with betting sometimes but I don't think there was anything wrong in taking Miami in this. Season is young but remember this post when Bills fall back to earth this season. Don't be deceived by their 2-0 record

Im a big bills fan. I was very concerned about their defense, but they actually played really well last night. And I'm not saying that because they got turnovers which were basically free gifts. They did an awesome job getting to the ball quick and limiting big plays. They let the receivers and achane chip away but didnt let them get too free and didnt make any big mistakes.
I actually like the Bills offense a lot better this year. Allen seems way more controlled and deliberate and not as much wild gun slinging. The offense looks more like a cohesive unit now with a true identity and consistent game plan with all the pieces fitting that plan. They look a lot more team like.

@Latrobe76 Only way he’s saving the season now is with Brady… Not happening.
Agreed. Brady has $375 million reasons that are guaranteed and without getting hit. Let alone his partial ownership in an NFL franchise. TB12 is one smart man. If he let his ego come out of that contract for the Dolphins well shit I will have officially seen it all.

I agree the dude just has a great connection and that’s it. He’s awful

It will be interesting to see if the last Jets game was just rust + playing a team that was close to winning the SB or what
I don't think they will win it even if Rodgers plays better I think it's pretty rare to just add a veteran QB and some random WRs and get instant success only the Rams did it and Stafford was younger and didn't get hurt. Teams that continually draft QBs that suck with top picks usually suck for a long time and despite having a good defense and all yhe talk about defense wins championships actually all the worst teams in the NFL the last few years are the ones that can't score.
I also don't see Saleh outcoaching McDermott who has been much maligned but has actually done a pretty good job overall I'll just never forgive the Bills for getting spanked by Cincinnati in the blizzard game at home. I couldn't believe a passing team with an iffy run game would beat one of the best running teams in the NFL with a supposedly elite secondary. I was shocked and so was my wallet.
