So much worse than the old forum. Just let the old forum remain as an option at the very least. If you can't, leave it as the old forum.
At least design a decent forum if you're going to force a switch over...

We are always open to constructive feedback and actionable insight from our users. We always take action on your feedback when it makes sense or it benefits the majority of our users in one way or another. The old forum is not:
- Responsive (does not fit in mobile devices properly, reducing our ranking with search engines such as Google, not user-friendly for people with visual disabilities)
- Not compatible with new technology (not able to add search, email notification, editing posts, etc.)
I understand that you might not care about any of the above but we feel that these are important issues to most users and we would love to keep adding new tools to the forum to help our users engage even more.
If you have any specific feedback about the new forum (usability, technical or design-wise) we would love to hear it but comments such as the new forum sucks or i hate it has no value and does not provide us with any actionable insight to help make the new platform better for everyone.
Thanks

Hey @NinjaNight
We had other users also complaining about the new visuals. We have added a few things to be implemented in the next update. Is there anything you would like me to add to the list?
Upcoming changes:
Forum Width: We have increased the overall width of the page not just on the forum but across all new pages on Covers. This helps both to fit more content on the page and also accommodate the recent uptick in users with larger screens/resolution. You can see this across all modern websites. As an example, Reddit (the most popular community platform on the internet) uses a 1250px wide layout whilst here on Covers we have 1170 wide layout.
Edit Function: You are absolutely right, the edit button will be time-boxed (~5 minutes) mainly to allow authors to fix typos and such.
Forum Homepage: I have passed your feedback to our design team to assess and possibly rethink. If it helps with the legibility of the page, rest assured we will implement it (we have done this for the tables in the new matchup pages)
Avatar Size: We will slightly increase the size of the avatar image in the next release for the time being. This is was done to save empty space and display more content on the page initially. We will also look at the image uploading process as a whole so you can see what will be displayed on the forum whilst you are uploading your profile image.
I can relate to the fact that some users might not be happy with the aesthetics. I hope you can appreciate that we want to keep everyone happy but we do need to insert our branding across different sections of the website as well (font size, color, link color, spacing, etc.) in order to stay consistent. Again thank you for taking the time and would love to hear back from you if you have any other thoughts/feedback.

Are you kidding? The new forum is MUCH less compatible with mobile devices than the old. It can take several minutes just to post a simple reply. This one I'm doing now took 9 full minutes to load. On top of that, it looks horrible. And the green hash marks that users used to receive based on their length of time and number of posts are gone. Seems like 90% or more of the people on here hate it, yet we're being forced to accept it.
