The overreactions this board makes after ONE bad game is hysterical...

Question

All I read coming into this game were that the Patriots were a LOCK this, LOCK that and that they were far better then both undefeated teams. Now they play one bad game. Ok fine, it was an awful game but does that mean this team is completely done? Now all I read is that they are a horrible, horrible team. I'm guessing all you guys are now going to start fading them right?

the pats have been a pretty awful team this year.. the abysmal performance, defensively at least, was foreseen by most.

Were they awful when they built a 17 pt 4th quarter lead AT Indy? Yes we all know they have defensive problems, but they can still keep up with any team in the league offensively and it would not be a wise choice to write them off the rest of the season.

What I DID say is they aren&#x27;t NEARLY as bad as people are making them out to be, and fading them off this one bad game would be a poor idea.

they are 7-4, still a decent team, but after being exposed last night, they are just not a top tier team by any stretch. they arent who a lot of people thought they were, and i think i new persona has taken form for this team: They are middle of the pack

You are correct Prime in saying they are 1-4 on the road. IF the Pats can get the Defense in gear then they have a good shot of going to the big game but they got exposed last night and everyone will try and copy what NO did to them. Call me insane but they may not make it past the first round and if they falter down the stretch they may just miss the playoffs ! Crazy things have happened before and they may just happen again

i still thinks the pats are a top tier team but man they looked slow lastnight. sometimes youve gotta give credit where credit is due. the saints simply took em to the woodshed. but, as far as someone saying other teams will try to do to the pats what the saints did to them is just plain stupid. "other" teams dont have the offensive personnel the saints do. end of story.
