Usually at this point in the season most teams have dropped into "4th" gear and it's just a question of when they arrive at their playoff destination. This year however, our good friend "Covid 19" has assured us that nothing is written in stone and to "tread lightly" when laying the "Big Wood". After looking over the possible candidates for this kind of logic, I've narrowed it down to 4 teams that fit the criteria for covering a larger number under these circumstances, so without further BS, here's how it shakes out for me for this weekend in the NFL.
Philadelphia - 11 over NY Giants. Usually a classic division matchup that typically offers a low scoring battle in the trenches, but not today. While the Giants have a snowballs chance in hell of a playoff berth, the Eagles are just getting warmed up and with the talent of Hurts and the balance that M. Sanders gives the offense, the Philly D will have a lot of long rest periods on the sidelines in this one. If the G-Men have more than 250 total yards of offense in this game I'd be shocked, Lay the fat #.
Dallas - 9 over the WFT. Again, a usually hard-nosed divisional game that offers some surprises because of the rivalry, but not today. The Cowboys have seen on numerous occasions just how costly it can be to play to the level of your competition. There are games this season that were lost by the "Boys" just because they lacked the intensity and killer instinct to put a foot on their opponents neck and do so for 4 quarters. I believe that they've learned that lesson and that today will be a perfect example of a "start to finish" domination of the WFT on both sides of the ball. Their only obstacle today is their focus( or lack thereof). Not today, they'll solidify their division position and keep the Eagles in the rear view mirror.
Seattle - 7 over Chicago. There may not be a playoff in the Seahawks future, but they're home, angry and playing against a Bear's team with virtually no leadership and starting a QB with no real way to benefit from giving it "his all". It's been a long time since the SB win Mr. Foles and it's gonna be a long day in the trenches for him today!
KC - 10.5 over Pittsburg. Steelers have all but circled the drain, even though they have had a couple inspired performances recently, they're going to be over their heads today against this KC offense and more surprising, this KC Defense. Big Ben will be looking out of his earhole most of the day and while the Chiefs may yield him yardage, I see more FGs than TDs for the Steeler offense. This is a large number to lay, but Pittsburg cannot matchup against the speed of the KC offense and the numerous deep threats, can you say "Tyreek Hill". He's back and won't be stopped today.

Chiefs can afford to throw the game today and wouldn’t be shocked to see Big Ben sling a couple tds against a chiefs team that really has not much motivation and might sleepwalk through the game.

Chargers laying 13.5, but I agree, they have a lot more talent and reason to play today! WFT may bring some motivation to spoil, but if the Cowboys keep their foot on the gas from start to finish, I don't see a problem covering the 9. GL Freddy
