First of all.

They are up 10, they go ultra conservative.  They pretty much do not understand that 17 is a key number in nfl...There are no two touchdowns that equal 17, they should have desperately wanted to go up 17 at that point.  This would have killed off Patriots.

Wilson did not run the ball in the 4th.  Why not? In other games, the guy is everywhere. 

There were no adjustments made, Brady pretty much threw 5 yard passes all night, and Seattle cornerbacks and defense were not told differently to jam and keep hitting till they stopped going short.
The greatest defense in the league was hampered by their coaching staff but also by one KEY injury...

Simon was ATROCIOUS as the cornerback af the kid broke his arm...But, once again, no changes were made by coaches.

The last play, 2nd and goal with one time out left, should have been a run, or a fake hand off and back of end zone pass.

It was a bad call, it was bad coaching, Bevell should be fired, his Wisconsin love for Wilson is sickening, he wanted Wilson to b hero.

Also, Belechick outcoached Seahawks on last play, because he didn't call a time out, Seattle was confused, Belelchick knew Brady wouldn't win it late, so he was defending the fort and said do or die, that was his last stand.  He knew Seahawks were being outcoached all game and werent subbing right personell, he rode with it, and won....

I would say that Seattle Seahawks coaching staff, with this game, and with Green Bay game, look like college football coaches that they are.

You can say this about any game...Usually the team that makes adjustments and has a better game plan will win.   That's why Coach Bill is he best at his craft

Ryan,

What's most absurd is how AMATEUR Carrol and his staff looked.  This was BASIC football coaching that they overlooked.  I mean, it's one thing to be outcoached, but it's another to look like it's your first high school game you're coaching.

This is the Super Bowl these coaches, Bevell and Carroll are experienced, this should NEVER happen at this level.

  Those "college coaches" were coaching in the L2 SB's..........no other NFL staff can say that.

NONE of that matters after what they did last night.  NONE.   

It is now considered, by 90 percent of the population and all media outlets, THE WORST CALLED super bowl play in history, if not organized football.

And I've been a Seahawks fan since 1985.


You have to understand something, it takes a lifetime to build a reputation, and seconds to ruin it.  BEVELL NEEDS TO GO.

He made MANY MANY errors this year, especially in the Green Bay game....Seahawks were very lucky to win that game, but time and time again Bevell made bad calls.

He went into Raiders interview, and they kicked him out in 20 minutes.

Don't disregard the pass interference trip no call in the seahawks next drive. Biggest play of the game

Yes, but well coached, good teams OVERCOME bad calls....

The fact is: 

Patriots scored 14 4th quarter points against the "BEST" defense in NFL.  

The game should have been killed off by either the offense going up 17, or defense by one stop....Defense looked horrible with Simon at CB, at not being able to stop the short passes.

As a Seahawk fan, I was ashamed of this performance, not by players but by coaches...But I know that Green Bay fans felt the same, sometimes its not the players that play the game that lose or win it, it's the old men in track suits....This was that case..

Biggest play of the game was a 1st down, 16yd no call PI???

What about the first drive of the game the roughing the punter call at midfield that was missed?

EXACTLY, another coaches blunder......Coaches have cost teams wins more this post season than any I can remember, usually good players play through bad coaching decisions, audibles, etc. But coaching has been HORRENDOUS this year with some teams...Packers, Lions, Seahawks, all are aware of this...

If you recall, the lines for each quarter had pats at plus money minus half a point (I'm talking +140 to +165). The only quarter that was +105 was the 4th. The writing was on the wall and as a seahawks backer who was looking at the lines all week I wish I would've slammed that  4th quarter  also pats had the ball the majority of the 4th seahawks only had that 3 and out and the final drive.  Pete carroll was definitely a Douchebag for his reluctance to play short routes

In 30 years of watching football, I have never seen a coaching staff this bad, in this big of a game, maybe a couple college games...BUT THIS IS THE SUPER BOWL, you can't coach a bad game here, you leave it at the hands of the players, let them determine the game...Put them in good situations, etc.

That wasn't sh--. The kicker fell by himself like a cat. Also pats were plus money in the 1q by like +130 -.5 with the o/u at 6.5 refs weren't going to grant them that bs. Kudos to the refs for ignoring that crap. The p.I. call would've extended the drive and opened up holes in the defence to at least run clock out and potentially score again

Seattle was the better team. Its a game of emotion, period. Plays/ coaching  had nothing to do with anything.
The Pats were more ( or less, I dunno) emotional.
That is all there really is to it. Skill sometimes factors in, but time and again you see bizarre crap happening that isn't supposed to because one team is flat and the other is high, and the Pats have been on a  high. Its sucks.
Not saying skill doesn't win out sometimes, but generally from what Ive seen its the team with the most emotion, not the most skill.

So you don't think that "skill" of Marshawn Lynch shouldn't have been used?  So emotion is the reason why? Coaches are there to make sure there's a game plan and CORRECT players are on the field and that the highest skilled player is USED in certain situations.

Just like basketball, no one can win a game if THE RIGHT PLAYERS ARE NOT ON THE COURT.

When you hit the "plant-leg" of a kicker, its 15yds no matter what...its a rule!  Not sure how you argue that??

So, on a 4th down play that should have been a 1st down but Seattle gets the ball instead, that's no big deal....

But, the missed PI on 1st down for Seattle, meaning they still had 2nd and 3rd down...that was a game changer??

You have great logic
