The wide receiver screen

The dumbest offensive play in football is the wide receiver screen it's the easiest play for defense to sniff out.

It's right in front of their eyes as soon as the QB throws horizontal just go forward and make a big hit. 

 It's a Drive killer , they lose yards most of the time or creates a turnover and also gets your receivers killed. 

Hardly ever works but they all use it .

For Miami It would be 14-14 or 14-10 without that stupid play.

The other dumb thing these teams do is a shotgun when that need a yard or half yard or when their at the goal line especially when they go empty that makes no sense.

I think its a great play on certain situations 

I disagree. If done right it can be a lethal play given how odd of a play it is. Defenses should be able to sniff it out but if you have athletic guys out there, 1 good block and it's a solid play 90% of the time.

 Kansas City defense was tired they couldn’t stop the run so naturally Miami throws the ball on the last four downs of the game they ran right threw the chiefs to get down field why stop?????

oh god does this make me cringe. 4th and goal at the 1 yd line shotgun snap back to the 5 and lose 4 yards. Professional football coaches…

Works on a blitz from the opposite side. 

As soon as I saw this Finz play unfold horizontal backwards Hill a sitting duck my wife and I both blurted out swear same time...Nooo

Baloney it fails 95% of the time at all levels I must see this play 50 times a week it usually loses 2 yards or gains two yards and with it that comes a high percentage of holding penalty's and turnovers plus injuries 

It's so easy to spot with the QB throwing the ball across the field maybe it works in the play ground but at the college and Pro level it's a losing play .
