Game planning against a ferocious front 4 is very, very difficult. 07 Patriots had already faced NYG, but still didn't know how to handle them.
Yeah, Giants are pretty schizophrenic, bu they've also beaten good teams on the road. Eli can look extremely impressive. Giants have a better running tandem w/ Jacobs and Bradshaw.
Plus, I wonder if the GB tragedy has limited their preparation during this past week. I mean, isn't the OC a pretty major part of designing a game plan? How the heck could he provide much work this week?

You dont think having a healthy Bradshaw, healthy Manningham, fully healthy D line, & Eli having the best year of his life...all which means they are peaking @ the right time means they wont keep it close. Sure losing by 1 score (1 TD) can easily happen, but i beleive they can keep it close if not win...IF they continue to remain healthy and play at the high level their talents allow them to play at.

how heathly is the packers offensive line?
i think the packs are going to have trouble up front and rodgers wont be able to sit in the pocket like he has one alll year long.
the only game rodgers was pressured was the kansas city game and the outcome was packers lost.

scal all good points
these games are won upfront , and the giants are going to win the trenches in my opinion
bulaga holds on almost every play and it never gets called , i'm sure the giants have shown the tapes to the nfl from the last game, unless it's a total all in job by the refs , i see the giant pass rush being able to do eneough to keep them in the game
if the holding is allowed , your probably on the right side and green bay wins by dd !
on the flip side , no matter what rodgers does , you need the packer defense to create turnover in order to win
green bay's defense is swiss cheese this year. yeah they are 15-1 , but the 85 bears is not what we have here.
i can't see the packers being able to contain all 3 wideouts. manningham is the key , he did not play game 1 , he is the guy that gets the 1 on 1 and will beat anyone the packers put on him
throw in a bradshaw and jacobs who will give eli more support than grant and starks and there is no reason to think the giants won't be in this game
finally , you have a super bowl winning qb here , super bowl mvp here , getting 7-8 points , has won on this field in a big spot already. eli over the course of his career has thrown in stinkers , i have personally seen them, but most of the stinkers have come at home in the meadowlands when his own fans got on him
i expect a big game out of eli today , and i think that bodes bad for the packers and there backers
eli can win a close game here for giant backers , or if it is a 2 td late for the packers , he will get the backdoor in against this pourous packer d
i wish you luck scal , we were on opposite sides year ago in a meaningless nba game in philly , i was on the wizards , and the 76ers laid the hammer down late
that wizard team was a very bad team , and sometimes when you take bad teams you deserver what you get , the giant team however, is far from a bad team
