So here we go again with another installment of Time to Blow the Check. With all 32 teams playing (or played) this week, it's going to be a good one. So many good games on the board, like Indy vs. Houston or Minny vs. The Bears, but of course, these will only be good games to watch if you're smart.
With a computer glich I had last Sunday, I wasn't able to post all my plays. I went 4-1, but was only able to post the final 2 games of the week which went a perfect 2-0 (CLICK HERE)so only those will count towards my season total.
Documented here on covers 13-9.
Here are the pays for this Sunday & Monday Week #12
Miami Dolphins (-3) - These guys just seem to find a way to hang in there week in and week out. That Wildcat offense is here to stay. In games where the line is (+3) to (-3), Miami is 4-1 SU and 4-1 ATS; against conference opponents, they are 4-2 ATS this season.
Tennessee Titans (-3) - Vince Young is starting to look like what he was drafted for a few years back. Plus if Kurt Warner is still having dizzy spells and Matt Leinart has to play, I like the Titans in this one. I know, I can hear you yelling at the screen saying "but the Cardinals are 5-0 SU on the road this season, WTF are you talking about Pete!" Yeah, but did you know that the Cards are 1-2 ATS this season after 2 or more consecutive wins?
San Francisco 49ers (-3) - Yeah, yeah I'm a little biased here. And I'm definetly breaking one of the major rules of sports betting ( Bet with your head and not with your heart ). But the 9ers are 6-2 ATS this season and 3-1 ATS as a favorite TY. While the Jags are 0-3 ATS this season vs. a NFC West opponent. I'll be at the game, so I'll post updates when I get home Sunday night.
New England Patriots (+2.5) - BUY THE POINT! Do you not remember what happened 2 weeks ago? Tom Brady vs. Drew Brees - what a game this is going to be on Monday Night. The Saints are a perfect 10-0 this season, but if anyone can put an end to this run, the Patriots could very well be the team to do it. Pats are my underdog of the week here.
I know I only posted 4 games, and that is only beacuse I am very undecided on who I like for the Sunday Night matchup between the Steelers & the Ravens. With so much line movement and the Steelers not having Big Ben, and the Ravens Flaco not throwing a TD pass in his last 3 games, just so many untangeables here. If I do decide to go with the anything, I'll add it as a post here tomorrow.
Thanks for reading and GL!
