To hedge or not to hedge…

I have Vikes +5 as the final leg of a 4 teamer to win 5k. I want to hedge some. What would you do?

 Take 1500 and bet lions -5. Either way you walk away with 3k.

ez moni comes hard, 3k is a good chunk of change...no brainer.

Why would he bet Lions -5, better to bet Lions ML or -3 and have a chance of covering both

Definitely GO GARDENING..you'll figure it out 

Alternate line Detroit -4.5 +120.. you could hedge with that and get the better odds. 

you could lay the 2.5 pts with the lions and have a chance to middle if the lions win by 3-4pts. 

Those would be the options I’d choose from.. a 3rd option would be rolling the dice and betting it in-game and hope the Vikings jump out early and you can get a nice moneyline or spread with the lions. 

ride it out. youre only in these spots a couple times. have to get max value while you are here.

You guys are awesome! All great options, thanks! I’m going to see if Vikes score first, I should be able to get Lions + live and I’m going to bet 2k and go for middle.

 5k is a lot I would even though I have Minnesota. I had the rams as the final leg of 4 teamer to but only to win over 2k I didn’t and won. Good luck with your decision.

lay the 2.5 w/Lions so u win at least 1k .. decent chance for middle w/3, 4.. tie on 5

stick to a plan no matter what. You gotta secure something imo.. I’d hate to see you lose. 

keep in mind that odds are it’ll go back and forth a bit so you won’t get great odds if Vikings score first. Good luck
