ok so we have the lions vs pack tonight. Both teams coming off 2 straight losses with lions coming to lambeau where they haven't had any winning luck. I would like to point out a couple key factors in tonight's game.
First we know that Lions love to play a soft two high zone which forces opposing teams to win on long drives and dunk passes. Lions are going to force Hundley into being this one to win the game for the packers. It's going to be a lot of short slants and out routes but I have a feeling jordy may catch the secondary sleeping and the long ball comes into play at least once to Nelson tonight.
Now will the air mail work for the lions tonight? Detroit isn't great at the WR spot, GB though, not great at the corner position either.
Lions get stud punter Sam Martin back tonight. They had him last week, but in his first game back he did have a shanked punt. I expect him to be back to normal pinning hundley and co inside the 10 making Hundley drive down the field.
Next we look at the most important matchup through the air tonight. Nelson vs Slay. Last year Nelson torched slay 12 catches for 167 yards and 2 TD's in two matchups against Slay last year. Now we have to take into consideration that it was Rodgers slinging jordy the rock in this two games which has a HUGE effect. Take into mind that in last weeks game against the saints Nelson was open on the deep ball where he was matched against a linebacker TWICE and Hundley failed to recognize both. I expect him to have watched seen game film and worked with rodgers to identify when the matchup is there.
Next we look at Lions KR Jamal Agnew. Kids got some speed and packers punter can boot the rock which will give Agnew some return chances.
Next we have packers left tackle Bakhtiari and right tackle Bulaga back from injury. These two are a dynamic duo on the O-line which should give hundley some time in the pocket to complete passes to Adams and Nelson.
Now remember...packers led in the 4th quarter before losing to a pretty good saints team. And with Stafford being stafford, I expect another 4q comeback to bring his team a nice W in Lambeau. Will Hundley look sharp the first half?? Yes, probably. But Will the Lions make a 2h adjustement to stop whatever Hundley had going in 1h if anything? Will Darius slay to put a stop to this Nelson beating he's been taking over the past couple matchups? Who the F**** knows.
I hope this write up helped with either side you choose

I feel like the running game will be established in Green Bay tonight with a new O-line which will open up the play action and pass game - leaving Hundley with a scramble option and or pass option. Really like GB in this spot---leaning them as of now

My pick: GB +2. Stafford has to fight another year for that dub at Lambeau. Why I feel like this could be a 1pt differential is my reasoning for not taking gb ML
