I've posted my logical reasons why I like the Rams already, but here are a couple more that are.....well, here you go
Let's say you Dads out there were a head coach in the NFL at one time in your football career. Years later your son became a coach in the NFL. Head coach or assistant coach, whatever. And let's say you, Dad, got your ass kicked the only time you got to the Super Bowl as a head coach. And how about Grandpa? For all his success as a Super Bowl winning executive, he's more known as the blithering idiot of a coach that called a running play when he could have just taken a knee to win a game.
John Fassel...special teams coach. Rams. Son of Jim...Head coach Giants in SB XXXV. Lost 34-7
Sean McVay...head coach. Rams. Grandson of John...Head coach Giants 1978. Loses game 19-17 when they fu ble a handoff instead of taking a victory formation.
Wouldn't your son or grandson want to win their Super Bowl for Dad and / or Gramps? Abso-friggin-lutely.
Enjoy the game!

No doubt that in family get togethers McVay has heard these old glory football stories.
Not sure revenge plays much of a part in competitive sports...it certainly does in the workaday world of human beings. People spend a lot of time figuring out ways to 'fix each other's wagon'. Covers is a prime example of that one at work.

Could you or somebody else please list the NFL coaches who lost each super bowl that didnt REALLY want to win? Because I love your angle that McVay has a Dad who lost and a Grandpop who lost...and so he is gonna really, really, really want to win this game. But I'm just curious as to how many coaches who lost the Super Bowl also really really wanted to win. Cause that would help this handicapping angle no doubt.
Let me know. Thanks
Honky

Yeah, winning the 2nd place trophy. Oh yeah, there is no such thing in life. You win or you lose only and the Rams are going to LOSE. Mark my words.
is it the 666 angle that makes you so sure? If so, don't forget the same angle was for lebron to win on Father's day and it never happened....cuz too many people found out about the numerology. To me this seems like the same or very similar situation with the patriots. Only way they can have pats won, with all the huge bets on them, would be by one point. What is your thoughts?

Jesus Christ at the analysis there. This place is a circus.
Its better than half the other analysis you read here. Also the OP has been $$$ quietly....love posters like that. Also his play backs up my Rams +2.5 pick! I can't see it any other way. I mean I'll still profit if patriots win but I will also be covered on the other side incase of a close game or surprise
