I would watch letterman if this was his list tonite.....

Top Ten things that Brett Favre should have done before ever considering throwing the ball across the middle at the end of a game to go to the superbowl.

10.  Throw it out of bounds and try a game winning field goal

9.  Take a shit on the saints logo at midfield

8.  run and hook slide.

7. let the saints defense gangbang his wife

6. retire

5. audible and throw the ball off the offensive co-ordinators head

4. see if he could actually throw the ball through the uprights of the goal post from 55 yards.

3. let the saints offense gangbang his wife

2. take a knee

1. don't throw the ball into coverage in the middle of the field with the game on the line --its ryan longwells turn to earn his paycheck

just some humor to ease the viking fans pain of today......

Humor or no humor ....trying a throw into double coverage was just stupid.  There WAS about 10 things he could have done.  Sure this is Monday Morning quarterbacking and he did play a very good game to get them to this point. I would like to add that the play calling during this series and the 12 men on the field penalty was horrid.
