Honestly not one single game this weekend sticks out. Only matchup of above .500 teams is jets pats. Tough to back Seattle after how they've looked lately. Bills giving a full TD to the jags who I know are awful but my god Buffalo isn't any good either. Washington is actually a favorite. Is Baltimore truly this bad? Philly and Carolina both look good at times and bad at others. Dolphins beat the struggling titans now all of a sudden tannehill is actually a 4 pt favorite? May just stick to college this week. Det getting 2.5 and New Orleans getting 4.5 seem like the only two I'd consider.

I agree, only ones that really stick out to me are WAS and STL.
WAS because they usually show up at home, have a solid D, and can run the ball effectively. It helps that they are playing Jamies Winston who is prone to throwing INT and does not particularly play well on the road. After tough losses to ATL and NYJ, I see the Redskins bouncing back strong at home and blowing out TB
I like STL off of a buy. I like the matchup of their run game vs the browns run D. I think the Browns are under-rated and although I made no play last week on them, I picked them to beat DEN which they almost did. With that being said, STL will be able to get pressure on the QB, just like DEN did. At the same time, I think I saw an impressive stat about Jeff Fisher's teams coming off of a buy.
Just my two initial, leans, and I like the Giants as well against my pathetic Cowboys. Giants will roll, Matt Cassell is not the answer.
But otherwise I agree, not much is sticking out to me either. BOL

can never go wrong with pats at home no matter what the spread is..
I would agree with this logic, but I think it applies more so for next week at home vs MIA laying 11.5 pts, not this week against a solid, rival Jets team.
The Jets DEFENSE, which matches up extremely well with the Pats, and provides an excellent pass rush (one of NE weaknesses, especially with the O-line problems), will make it difficult to lay 9.5 points. I could make an argument for taking the pats, but only if it is teased to a -2.5 or pk, not to lay 9.5. Solid D, great pass rush, good running game, big, deep threat receiver in Marshall vs an average at best NE secondary makes the this a no play SU, or arguably a play on the Jets SU

I did last week and got called a square and harassed.
It's ridiculous when you voice an opinion and get ridiculed for it.
I agree with you with exception to Seahawk/Niners. I think the Hawks are going to FEAST upon them after that loss Sunday. Might be my biggest play of the year!

Yea this sites full of people who just downgrade every play you post and declare themselves the ultimate capper. Not to mention the amount of people who post a play and get on midway through the game to boast only to see the other team come back and cover. I enjoy getting on this site to gather some other individual's opinions on some games that I'm on the fence about. I also enjoy engaging in sports debates. I guess let the trolls troll. And anyone who's calling someone else a square most likely isn't the best handicapper themselves.

I usually like to look ahead of the schedule to see how next week's games will match up. Also, I think the home teams 4PM EST games are due to sweep the boards. They haven't done it yet this season and I know it happens a couple times per year.

Yeah, liking the Chargers and the Giants, but more so the Giants. Oak could hang with the chargers, especially given their O-line and run D problems

Hah, the last time I said that to myself, I made a few picks and bet against them. That was a winning strategy for me last weekend. I'm working on improving my assessment skills to say the least.

colts didn't stand out to you? Why all the sudden love for the saints on the road? Because they beat the Falcons in a fixed game. Public pounded Falcons and lost....public pounded Patriots and lost...public pounded giants as a PUBLIC dog...so why in the world would you play a PUBLIC dog the saints this week? Also...don't fall for the SHARPS jumped on saints early. Touts and Internet sites like to use that word to make Joe public think....well if the SHARPS are on saints I should bet saints I could go on about the media and their ESPN analyst that are constantly replaying that colts weird 4th down punt play discussing how the colts season is over because it lowered the teams moraleyea the season is over because of one play great analyst get paid to talk about this BS what a lovely job...wear suits and sit and talk about BS
It's obvious take the colts

Do Colts win by more than 10? What do you predict the score to be?

Agreed, I really like Indy this week. You have to wonder who in their right mind would want to bet on a team that just attempted the most ridiculous trick play in NFL history? They are also claiming to never have rehearsed it blah blah blah.....I'm with AFNFootballNerd on this one. Saints got the gift win vs Falcon as I also predicted to win SU. You will see Luck finally play a high level like everyone expected from since week 1.
Also, what I like about the Colts this week is that they will play at Carolina the following week on primetime MNF. They come off a big win vs Saints and then it seems like a more respectable match up with an above .500 record (4-3).
Speaking of Carolina, I expect them to beat the Eagles on SNF, host Indy (beat Indy) and then play Green Bay for the battle of the 2 remaining undefeated NFC teams. Ultimately, GB will probably stay undefeated and I'm still predicting to remain unbeaten (16-0). Carolina is still flying under the radar despite a perfect record in their own right. They will finally get their primetime spotlight against a so-called resurgent Eagles team. Carolina pounds them and finally gets some respect. In order to lure Joe Public was to grant them a big win like you just saw vs the Giants a couple days ago.

I disagree, there are more than a handful of games that have good sides. Arizona is much better than the Ravens, Pitt with Matarvis Bryant should be able to beat KC though that is just a lean right now. KC without Charles is a team that is just waiting for season to end. No run game.
Not sure but leaning Jets at 9.5/10 pts, who can stop Decker and Marshall on the Pats and not to mention if Jets can get rolling, Ivory will run a lot. You are dealing with a top defense in the Jets and have great corners in Crom and Revis.
Atlanta should cover against Ten with Marcus looking him he will be out. The backup is terrible.

I agree with the jets but Baltimore barely lost to Denver Cinncy and Cleveland. I don't belive they're that bad. They aren't good but I wouldn't feel very confident laying 9 with Arizona whose wins are against Chicago Detroit New Orleans and San Fran. Pitt is better than KC but playing in KC isn't easy especially if Landry Jones starts. I agree with Atlanta but my team is Tennessee so I tend to stay away from their games so I dnt get my heart involved.
And for the poster who was talking about the Indy NO game... I'm not fooled by their win against Atlanta but Indy is not a good team. Their D sucks. Their line sucks. And to be honest I think the amointmemt of Andrew luck as this top QB is too premature. He always throws ints. It seems like these espn experts just give him every excuse they can come up with and I don't get it.

Most of the picks look difficult this week but I actually think the Panthers are the play of the week. Everyone saw the Eagles on TV beating the Giants in a game that many thought the Giants had a shot at winning outright. So public perception is the Eagles have some value.
They still have trouble at times moving the ball and Bradford is erratic from drive to drive. The Panthers are playing great football and get to play at home on primetime. They'll definitely show up. People already have talked about the effect of playing the Seahawks and not covering the next game. I don't think it matters this time based on how the teams are playing and the spot.
Fortunately, everyone thinks I'm an idiot and discounts what I say so there's a decent chance the line will move more.
