I
am just a regular guy wanting to give you my take on a few of you
games. We are all on the same team trying to cash at the end of the
week. I hope what I have to add holds some value.
DAL -4
Dal lost last weeks game because of two plays-block punt and fumble at
the 1 by Romo. That is a 14 point swing. Those two plays will not
happen next week and maybe the rest of the season. If those two fluke
plays where erased that game would have been Dal 31 Jets 20 and we would
all be riding the Cowboys. On the flip side SF passed for a total of
124 yards and rushed for 85 yards on 32 carries. That is horrible!
Again, if it were not for two fluke plays SF would have only put up 19
points. Do you think Dal is not going to game plan to contain Ted Ginn
Jr.? He is lucky if he even gets kicked to never mind returning one to
the house. To think that SF is going to play offense better this week
against Dal (for lack of better words) is delusional.
SD +6.5
I am from NE, and I am huge Pat's fan but they lose this game outright-never
mind getting 6.5 pts. NE couldn't cover Marshall (7-139yrds) last week
nor Bush out of the back. Marshall posses problems because he is a big
WR and SD has two of them in Jackson & Floyd. Oh ya, they have Gates too!
Then you have Tolbert and Mathews on the ground and in the air. They
catch the ball out of the back field just as well as any back. The
Pat's needed every 500+ yards that Brady put up because their D sure
wasn't going to win the game for them. One last factor, this early in
the season with limited off season workouts couple with playing on a short week is recipe for disaster.
The books are loving this game because the Pat's looked like a well
oiled machine on national TV and now everyone and their mother is going
to back them. I agree with backing them- just not this week.
Again, I am just your avenge guy who know a little about the game of football.
