I’m not sure he’s big enough of a star to do a Super Bowl halftime show. It’s just my opinion
He was basically Chris Brown before Chris Brown took over. He's past his prime but he has a residency in Vegas so I think he'll put on a good show.

He's past his glory days but he has had a ton of radio hits and that's the basis of a Super Bowl half-time performance. Being able to rattle off hits. Frankly, they are running out of people. Keep in mind, the artists are not paid. The NFL covers production costs. That's it. Somebody like Metallica isn't moving unless it's a payday and they're one of the few Rock bands who are pop enough to fit the bill.

All I know is I'm desperate to get a hold of his song schedule for Sunday First song lock = ???
Not a huge fan of Usher but liked his music back in the day that is early 2000's had a few good hits but he's still around today and relevant
Could have said the same for Dre and Snoop back in 2022 and The Weeknd in 21 but as mentioned above they're performing for free, they're just trying to get some exposure and will probably get hundreds of thousands in royalties and streaming/download sales in the couple of weeks after the SB

First song I'm guessing goes like this ..
Yeah yeah yeah
Didn't know there was a wagering prop for his first song.
Also he's trying to be relevant again. After the Superbowl, he has a USA tours. 2 days coming to the bay area of California I heard on the radio.
Need money or need a job so of speak.

He was hand picked to keep the Swifties glued to their screens,,,this SB will set all time records with respect to women demographics

Full name Usher Raymond IV – is likely not in desperate need of a big payday as his current net worth is estimated to be around $180m (£141.3m), according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.1
This forum is truly remarkable. 17-20 years ago, people would pay 500 in Vegas just see him play for one hour.
