I still can't believe Anderson missed that potential walk off field goal in 1999. He was perfect all year. That ruined the careers of so many. The Vikings would have surely beaten Denver in the Super Bowl, and the course of history would have been so much different.

@diondimucci
Vs John Elway leading Denver to 2nd consecutive LOMBARDI trophy...Would have been a great Game
Ironically, when Anderson missed that Kick..knew Broncos could easily Beat Dan Reeves' Falcons..That MUST be the worst Moment in Vikings History

Then you remember Bud Grant's Purple People Eaters failures in those 70' SB losses?
Never ever forget Fran Tarkenton running for his life in those defeats

I have a question for vikings fans. There's no question Sam Darnold has earned himself a huge contract, but the problem I think is the Vikings can afford 40 million range, but there are many shit teams who will offer 50 million. Now of course Darnolds agent wants to get him the most money. I personally think Darnold should stay with the Vikings for discount, but I'm sure his agent is allergic to discounts. What do you think?

I remember that game very well as I was living in Atlanta back then. 14-2 vs 15-1. Didn't the ball hit Chuck Smith in the butt?

If I were him with all he's been through, I'd stay. He's found a home, just like Baker, after both bounced around the league (and were teammates at Carolina).
